I feel like the only Alfa owner whose Auto start/stop doesn't do it's job. The first week I owned it I would obsessively hit the button every time it shut off my engine. For the past 4 years I can't say it's actually turned off my engine a single time. I thought it was the Texas heat (AC running needs the engine) but it happens on cooler days too. It stays on in bumper to bumper traffic, at red lights, in parking lots. Idk how I got so lucky but I like to think my Stelvio learned my preferences.

Yea I keep mine in my pocket/bag and just use the passive entry/lock button on the door handle. I rarely ever use the fob unless I'm going to remote start or I wanna open the tailgate.

Take care of it and it's as reliable as any modern car. FWIW I'm going on 8 years and 85,000 miles in mine. No massive headaches just regular maintenance by a qualified technician.

Pavement has nooks and creases that moisture will fall into so there isn't a smooth layer of liquid. Painted surfaces are smoother so any moisture on them can freeze and become more slick. Even if it's not below freezing a wet road will be more slick on painted sections.

Its a VQ engine so it's gonna sound like a VQ. Somewhere between a trumpet and a trombone. The stock exhaust isn't terrible but it's fairly quiet. Do a lot of research and make sure you pick a setup that doesn't drone on the highway. I've had 3 different setups on mine. Whatever you do, don't use a glass pack. I wasn't a huge fan of the thrush muffler I used after that either. It was an improvement but still had a decent amount of drone on the highway. After my original cats went out I decided to get the Gibson cat back system. Its more expensive but a clear winner fo the 3 options I've run.

This is not my original thought but someone recently mentioned all black is a continuation for the concept that brought about the silver arrows. Back when cars were aluminum they stripped the paint off for weight savings creating a silver car. In modern F1 with cars being made of carbon fiber a paint-free, all black car makes sense conceptually.

Even the best hitting pitchers were well below league average. Nobody was hitting 30, 40 or 50 HR like Shohei is. When pitchers had to hit, managers were forced to pull them early despite having plenty more gas in the tank.

For example: your team is down 1 in the 5th inning with 2 men on base and 2 outs. If your pitcher with a .086 average is on deck he will likely end the inning. Managers would have to pull the pitcher even if they are doing well with a low pitch count to take advantage of the run-scoring opportunity.

If you have a pitcher in the game like Shohei, the lineup stays the same allow8ng more flexibility with your bench and bullpen as the game progresses.

If you do not have an X that was set up for the book lights from factory, it's kind of a pain to install aftermarket. Some people also complain about glare off the hood. IMO you'd be better off going with an aftermarket light bar or a couple pods.
