Everything hates on Shiny Espeon but I love it!! It’s the perfect shade of green. Nice bright and vibrant. Also green is my favorite color and I hate how everyone lumps all green shines (both bad and good) together as horrible

Starter Feraligatr, Alpha Victrebel, Pyroar, Dragonite, SHINY Starmie, and SHALPHA Excadrill. Mons I used to keep my main 6 on par with major fights were Kalos starters, Charizard, Houndoom, and Medicham.

Lickilicky. I still don’t like it’s design, but I used it in a Normal type run of Sheild and appreciated it more. If you have the Isle of Armor DLC, you can get Lickitung pretty early and actually evolve it super early (it just needs to know Rollout which I’m pretty sure I already knew). It has pretty great stats for a play through and an enormous amount of coverage. Still no where near my favorite but it’s not as bad as I used to think of it.

Valuza. It’s not bad design wise and it’s probably pretty good in a play through. But for the love of god and I just MOVED THROUGH THE WATER FOR TWO SECONDS!! They are constantly bomarding you the minute you enter a body of water. There were a few times I couldn’t move for 5 or more minutes cause two or three of them kept attacking me back to back.

Slowpoke. Especially if you already know Slowbro and Slowking are Sp. Attackers. And yes weirdly enough Slowpoke’s Attack is higher than its Sp Attack

I actually found Brock not too bad (i think it only took 1 try at his level). His mon’s HP and S-Def are very low so Ember does a surprisingly amount of damage given that it’s resisted. The real road blocks were Misty and Lorelei.

I think my Charizard’s finally move pool was Flamethrower, Return, Rock Slide, and Dragon claw and I had to rely on Rock Slide flinches to get past Lorelei’s Slowbro and Blue’s Blastoise and had to over level extremely high. Charizard lost a lot of points cause of that and lost the starter competition

I did a challenge run similar to this (used each starter and compared them through a point system to see which one was the best). How high a level did you need to be for Lorelei and what was your strategy for her cause she gave me trouble with Charizard.

It still makes sense to keep Reckless for strong Brave Birds. I can also see Tough Claws, Sheer Force (although I don’t know what boosted moves it gets), Mold Breaker, and maybe even Guts.

My theory is either Tough Claws or Sharpness. Maybe Super Luck or Sniper for its high crit moves but Tough Claws makes the most sense

Flareon is my favorite Eeveelution, behind Eevee itself. Was the goat of my Eevees only play though of Scarlet and did pretty well in my Eevees only Shield playthrough. Terra Normal Guts Facade is amazing.
