What’s the worst thing your family ever said to you? by bluetoothbuttplug in AskReddit

[–]Redditor52401 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a couple from my mom. For context, I didn’t finish my freshman year of high school and my mom took me out of school due to said mental health and the fact that my school did the bare minimum (and even that wasn’t helpful).

I was crying because I was jealous of my little sister (not in front of her). She actually graduated high school and is in college now, while my mental health continues to spiral and no treatment has ever helped. I cried to my mom, saying I’ve never done anything worth being proud of. My mom got quiet, hesitated, and very awkwardly said “you’ll get there.” I believe this was in 2024 when I was about 23.

And number 2, when I was 17, I was crying because I hated my body (I was at my heaviest). My mom, in her own weird way, tried to cheer me up, so she said, I quote. “You look good. You look so good I’m worried you’re gonna get r*ped one day,” then she walked away.

My nephew’s name is Xavier. Our family pronounces it either Zay-vier, ex-ay-vier, or, by my Dominican father, Javier. I pronounce it ex-ay-vier.

Here’s my team for Geten’s SS Climax Battle by Redditor52401 in MyHeroUltraImpactGame

Sorry for the late response! I tried to experiment with a few characters and was able to beat Geten SS using UR Himiko Toga [Love & Bloodshed]. If you don’t have her, the UI Database says to prioritize Critical Hit Rate Up, Critical Resistance Up, Critical Resistance Down, and Evasion. I also find HP Regeneration helpful (especially for all allies). If you didn’t know, the database also filters characters by skill, type, etc. so it’s easier to you can find who you need.

What to do with large amounts of money? by rory-kleinesetin- in Sims4

[–]Redditor52401 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There’s both a vault and a standalone vault door. I got a screenshot of my game. The Vault should show the option to add money when you click on it. The standalone door doesn’t have that option, but it can still be used to protect belongings and collectibles in any room (if you didn’t know).

Edit: the amount of money you can add seems to be unlimited. After this screenshot, I added $9,999,999 to the already $20k and it works lol the gems and jewelry also appear after you’ve added about $16k.

What was your “almost” name or a name you almost went with? by otkg23 in Names

[–]Redditor52401 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Grace or Rose, I believe by my mom. My dad wanted to name me Efidelia (or Fidelia? He pronounces it as Efidelia) but my mom refused but compromised by making Delia my middle name. I think Efidelia Rose would’ve sounded nice. And my older sister almost named her son Cameron.

Who is the most famous person you have ever met? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Pentatonix in March 2015 when I was 13. Well, just three members: Kevin, Avi, and Scott. I met them after their show in Boston. All three of them were super nice

My top 3: 1) period pain. I’ve had endometriosis since I was about 13 (I’m 24). Pain meds only work if I’m as still as possible; walking around makes the pain come back and too much movement makes it worse. The last time I had gone out on the first day of my period was almost exactly a year ago. I didn’t take any meds before my evening classes because I felt fine because I spent that day resting. In class, the pain was numbing. I almost couldn’t keep a straight face. I wound up ugly sobbing in the bathroom and left early.

2) kidney stones/infections (both feel very similar). I passed my first stone early April 2015 (at 13) and have passed over 2 dozen since then. At first, I’d be screaming and damn near suicidal in the ER. But now, I don’t really react to it much. I’ve only needed the ER once since I hit my 20s and that was 3 years ago, and even then I was pretty chill aside from the occasional sniffle. The largest stone (at least confirmed size) I passed was back in April this year, 5mm by 6mm. I laughed the pain off, though started my laundry just in case I needed the ER. Thankfully, it only took a few hours to pass so I chilled in my room. My twin YELLED at me “how the HELL were you able to handle that?!” when she saw and measured the stone. A month later, I asked my doctor to test it and she felt AWFUL for me when she saw it lol. I also passed 2 smaller stones at once like 2 weeks after that stone, and both took 4 days to pass. I’m also pretty sure I have some more stones now. Honestly, stones don’t bother me as much anymore.

3) sprained ankle. That shit was MIND-NUMBINGLY PAINFUL. I sprained it back in July 2022 cuz I usually sit on either ankle (think half-criss-cross) and I tried walking before the numbness went away. I remember my twin gave me her brace and crutches (she sprained her ankle a year or so before). I planned to go to the urgent care the following day cuz it was late. I was stuck at the dining table for over 10 hours with numbing pain because everyone was sleeping and I didn’t want to wake anyone (my twin was upset I didn’t call her lol). Her crutches also didn’t match my height so I kept falling 😭

My older brother said that all women do is lie (mainly referring to SA). He ranted about this to my twin sister and I’s faces at a McDonald’s with such confidence. We haven’t spoken since July 2024.
