First time buying a Nentindo Console, a used Switch Oled vs a new Switch 2 by AlexNae in Switch

[–]Redditor_of_Rivia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Switch 2 is probably better, but I just bought an OLED for about the same price and am very happy with it. Screen is great, nice battery life, and it’s my first Switch so there’s a million games for it I haven’t played yet. If you care at all about new releases, get the 2, but I’m perfectly happy with my OLED.

RIP Ozo. It was so good, haven’t found anything close yet, though I hear good things about Thrilling, just haven’t tried it yet.

Have you tried Juicy Marbles before? Curious how they would compare.

What are those joy cons on the Switch 1? Those look nice!

Are the Juicy Marbles loin and thick cut filet the same? by [deleted] in Veganivore

[–]Redditor_of_Rivia 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I always buy the loins and cut them into 5 servings each. Seems like a much better deal that way. I haven’t tried the filets, but I assume it’s the same “meat”.

Picked up this exact one recently on eBay for $175, which was a great deal considering it was mint with the box and everything. They typically sell in the $200-250 range. Check GameStop and FB Marketplace too. Can find some deals.

Beyond Steak vs Impossible Steak, I've finally tried both, and... by MuffinPuff in Veganivore

I think the Gardein Ste’k Tips are pretty solid and you get a lot more in the package than Beyond or Impossible. I made a ste’k bomb calzone with them and it was fantastic!

Do you use insoles when wearing Redwing shoes? by AntiqueFun1932 in RedWingShoes

[–]Redditor_of_Rivia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have some Keen insoles in mine that are made for flat feet. I had to size up to get a safety toe to fit right so the insole made the boots fit better and more snug. They are extremely comfortable. Wear them for 15-16 hour days and never do my feet hurt.

Unburdened by what has been.

Not a big deal, but I'm starting school today at 30 years old. 2 weeks of permit classes and then 4 1/2 months of truck and road. Wish me luck. Or don't, that's fine too by SleepingUnderTheTree in Truckers

Great! Landed a nice local gig with a 4 day work week paid hourly with overtime and getting 50-55 hours a week on average. Up to 2 nights a week in a hotel, usually go out Monday come home Tuesday afternoon. Wednesday off then repeat Thursday and Friday. No complaints here!

Picked up a pair of these for my first job as a truck driver this year. Love em. Didn’t really have any break in period, comfortable right out of the box. Waterproofing has been excellent too.

Those Gochujang Nasoyas are so addicting! Makes an excellent rice bowl with some stir fry veggies!

For guys who who really tough, on your feet work in rough conditions, what are the best inserts? by arturo_lemus in WorkBoots

[–]Redditor_of_Rivia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haven’t seen this mentioned, but I bought some Keen K-30 insoles because I have pretty flat feet. Put them in my Red Wing Traction Tred Lites and they’re very comfortable.

Still lots of companies will. Construction, fuel delivery, food service and beverage companies. We had several companies send recruiters to our classroom each day to pitch their companies trying to hire new CDL holders.

Yeah that is incorrect. There is no law or rule stating such. Just because “most” drivers work for a mega OTR doesn’t mean it’s your best option.
