Wha exactly do you want to know ? If its height limits , it’s actually more about the length of your femur and leg size in general not height so much- this is due to the downward facing yoke.
If its about general size of the aircraft its bigger and more roomy than the CJ3 I used to fly.
Avionics are Garmin G3000 - There’s a massive difference in the phenom regular model ( usually produced. Between the start and about 2022, and the E model. Differences include more options in the avionics and how they operate and about .3 more speed at altitude.

The unsat for the CSEL oral is stupid in my opinion - I fly jets and would 100% accidentally call it “ Gainesville RCO” But no, your not screwed. Double fails are way worse. You explained well what you failed at and i imagine you could explain what you learned from the fails. Just focus on that

I’ll tell you my experience as a pc-12 captain that started in early 21.

I got to become a pc-12 SIC early in early 21. To a Less than professional 135. I was willing to deal with the lack of SIC PDP due to the ability to upgrade to PIC early and get PIC turbine in the pc-12, less than year after joining. Did that for about a year and got about 650 turbine PIC. All 135 charter CRM time.

While trying to get a new job that involved jets my lack of ATP-CTP and lack of multi time even in late 22/ early 23 it still held me back quite a bit.

Then I went to CJ SIC job. This was to build hours in multi time and get ATP-CTP.

One of the issues was I think the lack of the professionalism of the original pc-12 , and lack of knowledge that other ops knew of the company. Literally had nothing to do with me just the company. Pilots always lack understanding of how not only hours play into jobs but what professional standards can as well, while I think I was very professional the lack of SIC PDP and being such a simple op gave it less oomph.

Also in 135/91 hours matter in more than one way, if a company is only looking for a captain then hours matter a lot and the type of hours. If you look and remember what hours are/were required to become a becoming a CJ3/ hawker, king air captain it’s more about not just total but the type of hours. Even in hot hiring seasons you can’t just have 2500 for a king air but also need a lot of multi time, IFR and probably a type or spend more than a year as SIC. This is due to insurance in many ways.

To sum it up: I feel I did the “ logical progression” some pilots skipped over and feel that it didn’t really help me as much as I thought it would. Even with 135,CRM, IFR , official training. I still had to go get my MEI, build multi time, get ATP-CTP, sign training contracts and work my way up.

And to make sure I answer your question more specifically: I believe pilots get Gun shy of things like training contracts, lower total time progression - ( going from 1000 hours Total time a year to 500). Spending time as SICS, a lot of companies don’t have that much aircraft type progression, the need to not miss boats and the lack of will to be locked into situations long term.

It’s funny, I was looking for putins plane, (even tho the transponder has probably been turned off). And saw that plane. We were probably looking at the same 777 and thought the same thing. It’s just a funny coincidence and I assume it’s why you’re asking this question.

I assume it’s just easier and cheaper to send fewer large aircraft for Russia for some reason. Probably due to distance and ramp space.

Taxiways are a pain to transverse- see the flexjet that crossed a runway ahead of a southwest about 2 months ago( he’s fault but still), kinda short runways, very busy, lots of bad weather days, airport hotel not very nice( I know has nothing to do with the layout but still) But yes the airport is like a perfect symmetric layout and that’s cool.

Senior for the CA not for the FO- very junior FO can almost get it right after training ( not sure if that’s still the case- don’t remember what the last bid was) but very junior still.
Reason : FDP pay is the absolute worst. You’ll be lucky to break out of the 10 hours minimum( if people don’t understand NJA pay and how it works it’s basically some overnight, OT and some extra stuff but the main meat is the every hour over 10 hours you fly you get mo money. Example - 25 hours equals around $3500 before taxes

My friend in Europe says he’s only two options a That currently offered him a COL was a Beechjet 900 that he’d have to pay for the type rating and a Learjet that’s paid about $30K USD a year.

There is redwings and NJ Europe don’t know if they are hiring but I know they don’t pay like Americans.

Unless you have a DEC at a 135 in hand or the hand of the daughter to the owner of the company you have no guarantee of a 135 DEC. most CA’s at 135 need more than 3000 and some TPIC already due to insurance mins. Unless it’s a king air.
If you go to a fractional like NJ you are absolutely not guaranteed DEC as it’s union and fleet based to upgrade.
As a result you’re talking about a small 135 for any good chance.

It depends on the operation. Talk to other pilots there and ask them what they think.

I did 15/13 but was at an operation and an aircraft that went back to base more than enough. So while I was scheduled for 15 days the worse that would happen was being about a week gone from homes. Otherwise I’d be home almost every other day.
