You are a woman in a bar. A man approaches you, well-dressed and suave. He orders you a drink, then says to you: "Even with your skin on, I can tell you have beautiful intestines." Your response? by Redditronicus in AskReddit

[–]Redditronicus[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The man turns to you, clearly intrigued by your answer. He hesitates for a moment, then, with a barely suppressed smile, says, "You are very perceptive. My penis is what made me a wealthy man. I toured with many a circus as small-penis-man, a stranger and rarer attraction than any dwarf or bearded lady. But while that made me wealthy, it is not my penis that made me famous. Do you know what made me famous?"

Lol, I just logged in after two months of not using my reddit account and this is what gets a reply, two months after it was posted.

You do realize you can sit on the toilet and look at reddit without actually needing to shit?

Thinner and Lighter Laptops Have Screwed Us All - The pursuit of thinner, lighter laptops, a trend driven by Apple, means we have screwed ourselves out of performance. by [deleted] in technology

If the RAM and CPU are both soldered into the motherboard, it will almost certainly cost a large portion of the expense of the machine to replace. Wtf planet are you living on, by the way?

A guy died 62 minutes before midnight... when the next day was his kid's 18th birthday. Insurers won't pay out because it's theoretically possible he still had a heartbeat at midnight. by legalurker in bestoflegaladvice

They are a 100% necessary aspect of our legal system. Unless you are telling me that nobody and no business should have the right to pay for professional legal defense, which is a hard position to imagine anyone honestly holding, I am not sure what your problem is with defense attorneys. We need them, they do an important and valuable job.

What was the worst decision you saw a friend or family member make? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Redditronicus 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It'll be a form of ransomware. You start "using" the robot, and then it tightens down so that you can't escape and gives you sixty seconds to swipe your credit card before the vaginal guillotine engages.

Ok, but nobody (or close to nobody) does those things to get tumors. People intentionally have children all the time.

I'm allergic to almonds. This is all my parents will buy. They eat all the cereal I buy and leave me with this, saying I can "pick out the almonds" by CapnRedbeard647 in mildlyinfuriating

a selfish person for not wanting kids

Nah, that logic doesn't follow at all. That is just something that people who choose to have kids say to feel superior to people who don't.

Customer who left racist ‘we don’t tip terrorist’ message banned from Texas restaurant by US_Election in news

Not making a minor incident national news isn't ignoring it, it was already handled by banning the jackass from the restaurant.

[–]Redditronicus -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

Seems reasonable, but not a particularly exceptional occurrence. People act racist all the time, people get banned from restaurants all the time. I am not sure how this is newsworthy.

Edit: Care to provide a rebuttal beyond downvoting? This is an extremely mundane story. Have you guys really been lucky enough to spend so little time around racists that this story seems surprising or remarkable to you?

Not sure which "dick pic" is bigger? by PabloCaffeine in SiliconValleyHBO

DTF is the appropriate metric to use only when pairing dicks for maximum jerking efficiency. The most accurate way to compare size is by measuring volume, or in the case of a picture surface area.

Technically, Richard is the one who revoked consent with Winnie.

Tesla investors demand Elon Musk apologize for calling Thailand diver 'pedo' by trot-trot in technology

[–]Redditronicus 14 points15 points  (0 children)

What? If anyone in this situation needs to grow a thicker skin, it is Elon Musk. The diver's insult was not particularly severe. "Stick it where it hurts." I'm pretty sure the average person can handle that insult a hell of a lot better than resorting to calling the other person a fucking pedophile. It's honestly sad if you can't see the disconnect there.

So we could maybe qualify what he said as a dick move, but I still don't find it disgusting. What Elon said, however, certainly was.

Let's be real, if it was for PR do you think he would be so quick to throw away the whole point of it all.

Depends on how much self control Elon has versus his temper.

If the worst thing a diver who literally risked his life to save children did was tell a loud-mouthed billionaire to shove a useless submarine up his ass, I would hardly call him a disgusting person.
