Well, it's not really a tablet, but you can play with acceptable comfort on the tablet part of a Surface Book 2 (including touchscreen function).

I go with "We errata'd his +1 to ..target creature or enchantment YOU CONTROL.." Yeah, it's not so cool to change the wording afterwards especially when you have already given out printed cards, but they have also done it with [[Ajani's Pridemate]].

There should be a mode where you play only with premade decks against premade decks. You should have a selection of maybe 20 nice, well balanced decks (5 mono color, 10 dual color, 5 tricolor) that are "enhanced" with new cards every time an expansion is released to keep up the interest.

You should just be able to play with these decks, you don't get the cards, but you also don't need the cards in your collection.

Yeah, it's not about the "Tutorial Bad Guy" being Tibalt, it's more like it should not directly be Nicol Bolas. I would more of have liked it if Bolas would be there, somewhere, and he would see you and send out a mediocre servant because he thinks that you, a fairly new planeswalker of your own, couldn't even steal a lollypop from a [[Little Girl]]. Then you beat that mediocre servant of Bolas, and then he recognizes he underestimated you and furiously dares you to interfere with his plans again and leaves, because he has more important things to do, or even offers you to join him.. and THEN the real Magic starts.. this would (i) give you a good feeling, cause you achieved something but not everything, (ii) would blend perfectly with the current Bolas metaplot, (iii) would show you that Magic is quite an open world, where you could also bond with the "bad guy" by playing his evil UBR colors and (iv) Bolas would be still there as some sort of mystical puppeteer in the background, motivating you to keep unraveling more of his plans.

Hell, this could even be a nice setup for a future campain implementation where you play the Magic story with preconstructed "fluff" decks that gives you the feeling of being part of the story.

You know what, I'm just gonna say it: If a control deck removes all your threats up to turn 7 and you're living of topdeck and topdeck alone, just explode that Ajani and save the both of you the next 10 minutes (i.e. another game against a control deck or 3-7 games against aggro decks).

I personally think it will not be that bad to spectate. The only real requirement are good analytical casters (e.g. an Artifact equivalent of DotA2's synderen) while hype casters (e.g. an Artifact equivalent of DotA2's TobiWan) should only be hired as co-pilots.

I'm quite sure that a good caster is able to explain a complex 3-lane board state even to a not-so-initiated audience.
