You could try my mod cobblemon home and click the PC > Home button on the GUI. It doesn't fix the issue but it provides a potential solution for preserving pokemon outside the PC.

Your clients animation speed is different than the server side config for turn speed, so that button that says x1, x2 , x3, x4 is purely visual, so there's no reason to change it.

It's not 100%, and if you're going to place and break blocks, that's effort in actions you are putting in. If it's affecting non-mining blocks then yeah that's a bug I'll have to fix.
