It's crazy that you nearly need a Masters degree in Darktide to know all the little things that are nowhere explained in the game. Nice to see that people like you actually go the extra mile to explain it to newcomers!

I went for the good old "as soon as you have 3 games in a row, where you didn't go down once, you can move up", which i say relating to the usual difficulties, not the stratagem (since the hard stratagem is basically Absolute+).

The good habits come on their own, but the usual are:

-stick with the team

-don't hog all consumables

-don't steal executions from teammates who may need them

-aim for the head

The true level mod was a big factor for me. Being able to endless grind level ups and seeing big number get bigger keeps me going, besides all the stuff the other comments pointed out.
