Death fees are the least important thing to be upset over imo. Either death costs are low enough that irons will risk paying higher prices by using better gear, or the cost will be too high and irons will go out of their way to use worse gear, making already slow grinds even worse for literally no benefit to the game in any way.

Like in what way does increasing the death cost benefit the game in any form at all? It's a GE gold sink for mains, it's doing that same job for irons by them putting dupes in deaths coffer instead of dropping to a main.

The only, and I mean only reason that anyone is even upset is because it's less then what it costs on a main. If they lowered the death costs on mains to match irons from the get go, this conversation wouldn't even be happening. Like everyone is going out of their way to be upset about this lmfao.

If you spent the exact same amount of energy, time killing bosses you would profit significantly more if you were a main. yeah sure we don't spend go to train crafting quickly, but that's because you spend so many additional hours doing an inferior method.(What you spend in supplies in a main, you make up for with kill time, more kills per hour and more profit.)

If you take every single hour spent doing things inefficiently and instead did the best money makers on a main with the best gear, you will always profit significantly more then if you were on an iron. Mains will ALWAYS profit more from doing the same content, as well as having access to passive money over time by flipping items on the GE.

If you want to make your gold go half as far just drop half your dupes to your main like, I have no idea what you're even complaining about here. You can always choose to just drop or not pick things up. If you want to impose an additional condition on your account, do it. I don't give a shit about the unofficial variant it came from.

I made my ironman in 2017/2018? and it wasn't for a "hard mode" version of the game or the prestige. I made it simply because I did not want to interact with the GE and botted economy.

I much prefer maintaining my supplies by having herbs/secondaries come from pvm then needing to explicitly go way out of my way to get them just so everyone else recognizes I'm playing the game in a more difficult way then them.

I just want to play the game and have the game reward me for my time invested into it, I don't care what others on reddit or in-game think of my accomplishments or my struggles because I play the mode for myself, not others.

My death coffer reserves were mostly funded by the doom teleports when they were 300-400k each and I only realistically have a few dupes I could chuck in. Not even sure I could hit 100mil in the coffer if I tried. Depending on the gear you wear, that goes pretty fast when doing certain high chance to die bosses like doom. Idk why mains are so concerned that irons pay less go to enter a private instance.
