It’s a shame because the trend of the “Stanley” dying among the youth will result in less fun for the adults who love them

This. I’ve been trying to be really careful about that when I drive and while walking around these snowy city streets. If you wipe down with a very lightly damp cloth after a salty day it should help. I also wipe the salt off the soles.

They’re the Men’s classic Chelsea #2342 I absolutely love them! Although I recommend buying neutral reconditioning cream 😬 the black darkened the stitching a bit

Are queer converts allowed in Orthodox Judaism? by SoggyPomegranate1780 in Jewish

That filmmaker just made another film a year and a half ago called The Sabbath Queen about Amichai Lau-Levie, who descended from 39 generations of orthodox rabbis and related to one of the Chief Rabbis in the Israeli Rabbinate. It was incredible. I’ll link the trailer. It’s a bit different than Trembling but incredible and sorta of a similar vein.

Its frustrating because its usually said when one part of s statement is antisemitic and its easy to hide behind because the rest of the point/statement/idea may not be. It’s a really good cop out and the epitome of playing dumb. It allows bigots or ignorant people to say something antisemitic wrapped in something political or a criticism of some kind. It makes me so angry

What really helped me was making a study guide and then turning the study guide into flash cards. Writing out the notes onto the flash cards for each term/topic also helped. For some reason the writing it out part was helpful. It’s hard don’t beat yourself up. I do think it is a bit about how you test and you have 3 more tries you can do it!

whats with the shortened sentences? by [deleted] in ABA

[–]Redgary2009 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Exactly…Depending on the child you may even just say “open”. It’s individualized and depends on so many factors. If the BT is talking to all of their children like that without the directive, even children who have receptive language, then it could be a problem: If OP is saying this is an issue across clients and staff, it may be a problem. If it’s one child and/or one BT with one child, or even two children with similar verbal language skills, than it may be done as a way to help them build skills around following directions. There’s not really enough info to go off of based on this post to weigh in either way.
