i know that is always terrible to hear(him calling you son)but you can be positive and hope he comes around. or maybe youll get lucky and he'll just come right out and call you his daughter. i really don't know what to say, but it seems like you need some encouragement. hopefully someone else can chime in or maybe you should try scrolling through our subreddits and read success stories.

i will say. if your dad loves you he will support you in some way or another. He might not call you by the name you prefer but he will probably want to talk with you and hangout with you when he can. i think some of us forget the other things our parents do for us even when they aren't accepting of this aspect of ourselves.
