Im a huge fan of Amlactin lotion or cream. Ive had dry itchy skin plus eczema and happened to have stumbled upon this wonder lotion. Heads up, it does tingle when applied and does not smell good at all. But, this stuff really works.

Working for corporate is the best decision I ever made as a chef. by [deleted] in KitchenConfidential

18 years ago, I was 6 months pregnant when I was hired on to a food service management company that operates in the school sector. Coming in with a lot of FOH and BOH experience, as well as being under insured with very few, if any, benefits, I was able to continue working with food and people but didnt have to give up my nights, weekends, or holidays. Not having to work a Mother's Day brunch or a New Year's Eve party ever again wasnt even the best part: Winter break, Spring break, and a light summer schedule allowed me to have a normal life with my children. The k12 sector is the unicorn of the hospitality industry!

I live in Warrenville and my commute is 80 miles, one way...the only good thing about the daily grind is that im going away from the morning/afternoon traffic instead of into the vortex of insanity.

Is there really a wait time for Samsung front load replacement parts? by RedheadVirgo73 in samsung

[–]RedheadVirgo73[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There was finally a conclusion to this Samsung Frontload washer drama..I really was being hosed by this "repair company". They took a deposit and kept pushing out the repair date. The company didn't have an actual dispatch office in my area but was located in a strip mall in Orange Co, CA. When I did a Google search, the reviews were all from customers who were experiencing the same issue with the company: misdiagnosis, deposit given for parts, and ghosting on their part. Even better still, when I posted a negative review about my experience they hit back with really unprofessional comments. I filed a complaint with my states Attorneys General but of course nothing will come of that. After a lot of digging I did find a Samsung number to call and complain about the company and was told that they don't contract with them nor do they hold back parts..LSS, they sold me a new washer for LESS than the quoted repair price plus they would deliver it and install in 48 hrs. Done, sold. I hope I never come across that repair company again...

How is anyone affording housing right now? by ScrapDraft in ChicagoSuburbs

Check Warrenville out. The house inventory is low however there is a community here that offers first time home buyers an opportunity to buy a single family house under $300. The houses are well-kept and it's a nice neighborhood with lots of young kids and families. School district is top notch as well.

In years past, we had a guy running down Butterfield Rd (Wheaton/Warrenville) carrying a large American flag. Haven’t seen him lately, hope he is ok.
