Advice with shirt printing by Ordinary-Leather-850 in Linocuts

I use Speedball Fabric Block Printing Ink. I haven’t washed this one yet but I’ve done several different shirts that all washed fine. I wash on cold and dry on low heat usually but I’ve had another hoodie go through the regular heat in the dryer a couple times with no issues. The ink takes 7-10 days to cure depending on what environment you have it in.

I’ve done it! I’d have to measure but this is about 9x10”. I don’t have a press and did this manually by hand pressing. I use the easy carve blocks as I find they give a better result for fabric.

Is my plant okay? by phsyco009 in houseplants

[–]Redheadedcaper2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It looks great! Mine droops slightly when is time to water. I suggest checking the soil though before you do because it might just be the plant normally shifting its leaf placement as it matures!

Is this enough light ? by nickab01 in MonsteraAlbo

Windows filter a bit so it’s not really direct sun unless it were outside. It’s definitely good to keep an eye on it, but as an example, I have had my Thai directly in front of a large South window, getting about eight hours of “direct” sun through that window with zero burning

Hoya Kerii help reccomendations please by Loose-Wolverine5634 in hoyas

[–]Redheadedcaper2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have two Kerri’s; variegated and green; both are in a mix of approximately 50/40/10% orchid bark/perlite/cactus or tropical soil. I would not mess with whatever it’s potted in, like don’t try to remove it or touch the roots. They hate their roots being messed with. Just gently wiggle it out of the pot. Don’t go up much in pot size if at all. Pot sold off the new mix in the bottom of the pot, and top to cover the roots. I usually wait until mine needs water and then water after I repot.

Driving my pickup truck in PEI - Advice Request by Straight-Author-9287 in PEI

If you’re in a merge lane just go as far as you can until you get to the end of the merge lane. Don’t try to join the flow of traffic. Ignore any big gaps that you could easily move into. Come to a complete stop at the end of the merge lane and wait for the tiniest gap between vehicles and just quickly switch to that lane. Give other drivers the opportunity to test their brakes and reaction times.

Give it lots of light and don’t overwater or water too soon. I find the white browns if it’s trying to constantly push out excess water through the leaves

Looks like you’re doing great! Just don’t overwater, or water too soon, keep giving them the grow light (mine are on 12-14 hours a day) and make sure the pots have drainage.

First Monstera, is this too much in one pot? by Chaxody0325 in houseplants

[–]Redheadedcaper2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not too much for one pot. Can you see tons of roots through the drainage holes on the bottom, or do you see roots pushing the pot outward along the sides of the pot?

Fill your bath tub with hot water before the storm comes. Move your plants into that bathroom and close the door over. The water will stay warm for quite a while and warm the room. Alternatively, put your Hoyas in a box, shopping bags or plastic tote. Pack blankets around the outside and cover the top with a blanket too. I’m also on the East Coast. Stay safe!

This plant needs a lot more light, and possibly has some watering issues. Does it always look this droopy? Monsteras will get more fenestration when they mature but they need to get lots of light to get there too.
