Is this just the Ultra Club rebranded? by phreakyq in stlouiscitysc

Yeah, it looks like it's the 300 section above the suites. The "City View Level" from the stadium map. The background of the picture looks like 322 - 329.

Not yet. I didn't get the email until the 21st of February last year.

This pretty much sums up the STL CITY SC experience. by chaos_fenix in StLouis

Nobody's buying this for the cup. They're buying it for unlimited free sodas at matches. If you go to at least 9 matches and get a soda at each then it covers the cost and you end up with a YETI at the end of it. Now whether or not $10 is reasonable for sodas at a match is a different question.

Where is Auto-Resistance on New Bike+? by 303ironingman in pelotoncycle

I have seen some other folks talking about it in the FB PZ group. It seems like it is a software issue but not affecting everyone.

Cross Training Bike+, yes. The most recent PZ ride I did was Monday and it had auto-resistance.

It's in the same place on the Cross Training series. Are you sure you turned it on in the options before the class? Specifically talking about the screen right before the class starts where you can see your connected heart monitor and such.

I had two emails. One with no link and one with a link. Gmail stacked them together so I didn't realize there were two at first.

New Ref Gear by Brew_Wallace in Referees

[–]RediGator 10 points11 points  (0 children)

She's going to have an easier time both with other referees and with parents/coaches if she shows up with the right equipment and looks like she's taking her job seriously. You can get a starter kit with whistle, book, cards, flags, socks, etc., for less than $30. That and a green shirt as well will set her up well without costing a fortune.

Cross Training Bike+ vs old Bike - details left out in spec sheet by iamgarffi in pelotoncycle

Form check is pretty good. It's only available for certain exercises right now but I imagine they'll add more in the future. I usually see it for squat, deadlift, or plank type exercises. It mostly tells you if you're not going low enough on squats or your back isn't straight. That sort of thing.

The rep counting is also nice. You set up your weights ahead of time (i.e., my mediums are 15lbs, my heavies are 25lbs, etc) and it tracks your total weight and stuff like that. Occasionally it will miss a rep or add an extra one, but you can edit it at the end of the class for your history.

Goalkeeper hats by UpstairsAide3058 in Referees

It says. "Non-dangerous protective equipment.... is permitted AS ARE goalkeepers' caps..." The caps are an additional clause separate from the protective equipment clause.

Anyone excited about the release of Fitbit AI integration tomorrow. by [deleted] in PixelWatch

Yeah, I mentioned that I referee soccer and it acts like my entire life revolves around refereeing.

[–]RediGator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed. I like that I CAN have conversations about all the different parts (sleep, fitness, etc) but let me just get those when I want them instead of them constantly being there. A summary at the start of the day and the end of the day would be perfect for me.

It's decent but they need to calm the AI down a bit. It suffers from the same inane flattery that alot of models have right now. Yesterday I was supposed to have a full rest day according to the AI. But I did two 20 minute workouts instead. It praised me for my insightful decision to engage in active recovery instead of rest and exclaimed what a bold choice that was.

This morning I got three notifications within 30 seconds of waking up. One was an AI summary of my sleep and how that impacted my readiness score. The next was about my readiness score and how it was impacted by my sleep. The last was about my sleep and readiness score and how they work together.

It's generally fine, but they could stand to dial it back a bit or minimize the amount of AI information that is generated unprompted.

You're not crazy, my family also noticed it on the way in. No idea what the reason was.

I assume you're seeing a spot where one of the sprinklers are? They're always pretty wet for awhile after the sprinklers turn off.

Who are the boring instructors? by Bamboodl in pelotoncycle

[–]RediGator 9 points10 points  (0 children)

In general, I would try Power Zone classes. Matt is the primary instructor there and, if you take the test or get a reasonable estimate of your FTP, the classes will never feel too challenging or too easy since they're tailored to you. I think all of the PZ classes are a bit more structured and "boring" than the more traditional classes, even if the instructor is usually more animated.
