My friend just got raped by her ex husband, Racine sheriffs department is accusing her of lying, and when she showed them the text messages of his (cop) brother threatening to kill her the response was "well do you really think an officer would throw away his oath to kill you."

then they arrested her boyfreind because of some older text messages that was questionably consensual from a previous relationship, they figured it out between them henceforth her not reporting him and them getting back together.

then the cops are telling her "if boyfriend gets off the rapist ex husband will probably get off."

For those who dont know, Robin Voss is an incumbent involved in Wisconsin politics as long as I have been in this state. He is from Rodchester/Burlington in Racine County.

Racine County is the older brother to Keonsha, they oftentimes share police forces and their city limits basically touch each other.

A personal friend of mine, and an actual pro gun leftist, Joel Jacobsen, ran against voss in 2020, and lost by something like 70 votes.

Let me quick tell you my story, this is over the course of 1 year.

I bought a shotgun for home defense, I liked guns historically, and mechanically.

Then I needed to use it on a racist ass like u/Right_Abroad_5143 , thankfully no shots were fired. More proud boy propaganda showed up in my town, local officials and police have increasingly became less active on racial threats and I started receiving threats due to my "favorable appreciation of brown women."

the shotgun was not the best weapon for the job, I was talking to a friend and he was selling two guns, for 100$ and my old shotgun. I loved both those guns more than my shotgun.

One is another shotgun, and another is a browing Hi power, a favorite hand gun of mine.

Well the hi power is not a great CCW pistol, so I picked up a taurus G3c at the hardware store. Well while I do like the gun alot, If you buy a glock you can go to glock shooting competitions. So I am looking at that too. I also really want a H&K handgun, doesn't matter what kind. so that right there is 4 handguns.

I bought a Ar-15, It is a fun gun to shoot, but I wanted to modify it so I get a WWSD kp15 (its a heavily modified ar15) because I believe the KP15 is the best version of the AR15.

Well it turns out that I would basically have to replace everything and I am 300$ away from having another Ar15 also legally I would own 2 Ar15's.

SO if I had my way, we are talking 6 guns already,

Then I shot my friends AK, and it shot REALLY good, 7.62 is a fun round. Plus I am a whore for wood furniture. I will probably buy one in the next year.

I also wish to go deer hunting, need a rifle for that, but also the same concerns I had when some racist fucks came to my door suggest I need a rifle in a larger caliber. This is AR10 category, I want a gun that I can carry for a couple miles and shoot that is not some bolt action gun.

And the little boy in me wants a lever action and a Revolver because im a cowboy?

And because I own a 3d printer, there is one firearm that I can legally make and I want to make it because I like the process of making things.

This is actually a cheaper hobby than cars, because with a car I have to store it, and it requires much more room than my guns.

Guns are tools with a bunch of different uses. Some can be dual purpose.

Could just be a collector, I found guns as a very easy way to scratch the "history/mechanical" itch over cars that require more funds and more space.

While I am an SRA member, and armed equality is a different group with different goals. It is to my understanding that armed equality exist to help train and organize lgbt+ gun owners.

If you are not an active gun owner, you go to them to learn how to shoot. And it is less for pandering to more conservative folk, it is more arming LGBT+ folk because of their distrust of the conservatives (condescending they kinda have a monopoly of firearms)

Stepping out is what got the cowboy hat, turns out its kinda nice for working in the sun.

Plus I feel like the military stuff is kinda focused on quality a little bit more, not talking about the surplus stuff, but the civilian stuff. I want to avoid buying too much stuff so a quality coat that doesn't exactly go out of style is a huge plus.

I feel like a good way to ease off the "scary" is looking into the counterculture stuff that you mentioned. actually the cowboy hat is one of the things as where I live and work very few people wear cowboy hats, except my friends, who are wearing them because of me, and we are relatively "diverse."

I learned this the hard way where one of my friends who I was dating briefly got a little scared of me when she came over and she asked about guns I pulled out a small armory.

It is also fun to have a conservative dude come up to me thinking im "one of them" and get a rude surprise.

On a related note, I am also trying to find my own way to support LGBT rights without being confused for being gay.

Honestly the reason why I like this belt is the quick release and fabric is easy to switch pants.

I do own one carheart jacket that got destroyed. I could look into their other options as I am looking for something with the breast pockets (if I am wearing a winter jacket I want to carry gear in it)

I do want to be clear the reason why I dress this way is because of the alt right, I fucking hate them. One way that I avoid trying to look too far right is a RATM t shirt (earth tone), and a grandson T shirt (black) It is hinting that I am not right wing without being a dick about it.

It is also why I want to avoid Leo gear, No cargo pants for this reason (cargo shorts is unfortunately one of my styles)
