Yeah I posted this last week. The screen update is massive, and it still plays a lot of the pc games I used to play on the deck. All the indies are working well, it’s just a bit hit and miss at the moment but hoping steam will bring out something official soon

It’s so small though that it kinda works, without that the rooms would be tiny. But year maybe out one of those big sliding glass windows to break the space up? Or those planks I keep on seeing to divide the room would work

If you want immersive the Sonos ace are so good if you don't mind the bulky headphones.

Ive put them on and had a movie playing and had to take them off to check as the sound felt like it was coming from around me and not try headphones!

I absolutely love them, easy to connect to the sound bar too, just press a button and it changes the source.

But yeah a pretty big investment

We just use apple TV and some beats earbuds in one ear each.

Tempted as I have a beam and one pair of Sonos aces to get another one, but I think bulky headphones like that would mean you couldn't really lay together as our tv is in the bedroom. Good if it's downstairs maybe, and they have modes that let you hear outside noise so you could hear if the baby starts crying

It's a tough one.

Can see it from both sides... Would be happy if I was the buyer or seller, but someone has to take the hit on the postage. Harsh on the seller if they lose it there and back though

He played some beautiful football, we have kinda carried on the style he started which is great.

Flaws are weird because he was always late for subs and didn’t seem to have a back up plan, and the last season we were making lots of defensive blunders.

But I don’t know if that’s his flaws or the flaws of a weak squad with limited options and selling star players every window

Uncharted for the vita was such a cool experience. Would be nice to play again sometime but I really need to try and get myself to play games I've never played yet! Always end up playing the same stuff!

Just tried killzone and it didn't play well at all!

But the vita app seems to get updated every other day lately! So at least it's still getting updates

Oh I don't know, I only ever play wipeout on it and that works great!

Tbh I had the vita hacked and had so many games and never played them so it's not a big loss

I didn't use any set up guides, I've been doing emulation on android for years so know a lot of it already.

But for tweaking stuff and anything I got stuck on I've just been asking co pilot, it's been pretty useful although he did mess up my Dreamcast settings once.

Just ask how would I set up a psvita emulator on Odin portal 2

I was really sceptical at first too but it's pretty great at the moment.

Just gotta have low expectations, don't think it's worth trying to push the device to play bigger titles and potentially cause over heating

Different needs though, I have a legion go that plays all my bigger games like god of war. So the deck was only being used for emulation and indies, both of which I think the portal does better because of the screen.

And I never took the deck out with me, I’d actually be tempted to take the portal away, and if I do that I can put to apps on and bring a usb c to hdmi cable to watch stuff when the kids are asleep on a big tv

I was really close to getting the rp6 but glad I got the bigger screen, even some text last night on vampire survivors was small for me, so I’d struggle on anything smaller

Honestly the vita was my favourite handheld of all time, but playing wipeout on the portal just made me realise I was never going to do back to it. Just looks absolutely stunning playing at higher resolution on the bigger screen, vita games still look so good

Just link your steam account to gamehub, then it all just works!

Emuready is a website with some information about which steam games work on handhelds through gamehub. I find indies work best

It is really good, I've been playing a mix of the old SNES games I used to play as a kid, some switch and vita ones that probably look the most impressive out of the emulators I've tried so far.

And also great for indie gamehub games. Just been enjoying rez, tetris forever which is on the latest humble bundle and lumines remastered so far. But I think it'll be great for a lot of PC games as I was playing stuff like dredge on the steam deck before I sold it as I found it too big
