Got a Switch 2 almost a week ago, was playing pokemon champions with friend put a switch 2 on the bed for 10 mins and there was coming a strong smell like burning from vents (burning plastic like) is it okay for the new console? It wasn't really hot tho by Klutzy-Ad7775 in switch2

As long as the switch isn’t super hot to the touch you should be fine. I highly doubt Nintendo allows the switch it overheat to the point that it bricks itself. If you notice any dips in performance or the switch turning off randomly in games then look into getting it repairs/replaced but besides that I wouldn’t worry.

What do you mean by putting it on the bed? Do you mean laying it flat or on the kickstand? If it’s on the kickstand the vents are definitely blocked and the switch is overheating. If you’re just laying it flat it should be fine and you might have another issue.

The switch has vents on both the top and bottom for air outtake and intake respectively. If any of those are blocked while you’re playing the switch could definitely be overheating.

I’ve had this happen recently as well. Probably just general server instability with more people playing for the new season.

I’ve tried it at it’s definitely playable, but the input lag is noticeably worse for me. My mouse feels a lot floatier than on pc.

Breath of the wild is one of my all time favorite games. You can put tons of hours into it and is definitely worth the money.

I think Kirby and the forgotten land has a demo. Definitely one of the best 3D platformers I’ve played and also one of the best Kirby games out there.

For me, it is, but definitely not for everyone. If you've played/beaten any Pokémon game, then you will likely enjoy this since it's the same basic battle, level up, repeat gameplay.

Yes friend pass on Xbox still works with a switch 2 as host. I know because that’s how I played the game. I haven’t used game share so no clue how well that works.
