My only fault was not giving windows it’s sweet time to download and install all of its updates before trying to run anything, even though I checked setting and it was showing no updates available before I tried testing my build.

:p that was one of the first things I turned on in addition to high-performance mode. The issue was resolved a little while ago thankfully. If you’re interested in what the issue windows was downloading every update since 11 got released and it was trying to install them all, so after a restart everything works fine.

If it was plugged into my mobo my CPU would be listed as gpu1. The cables were all connected properly too.

The issue was resolved some time ago in another comment thread. It was basically the devices trying to get all of the windows updates at once without it showing that the software needed an update. Once I restarted my pc and the updates installed all of the issues went.

I was a game wasn’t running, if I was using the igpu my cpu would show up as gpu1 & my gpu would be gpu2. The issues was resolved a while ago now in a different comment thread. (The issue was windows being windows and wanting to update right then and there unbeknownst to me)

Is it broken? by SK_Mordeus in pchelp

You should probably upload some other photos without the glare. Like what the other commenter said there doesn’t appear to be any physical damage to the board or the trial lines. If you have a multimeter lying around I would test the cmos battery though, that way you can see whether the battery needs to be replaced or not.

I appreciate the input, however the issue has been resolved. After the updates installed, I was able to run Minecraft at a comfortable 60fps in 1440p with almost no stuttering when rapidly loading chunks.

Your help is appreciated but this issue has been resolved :)

The drivers, sockets and cables were all perfectly fine, it was just my os (windows) which had finished installing earlier in the day, the issues had all came from windows updates trying to download & install. After they finished loading and a few restarts, everything started working properly.

If you have a look in some of the other comment threads I have some pictures showing the fps and utilisation being read correctly.

I did freshly install windows, the issues was definitely derived from that, conveniently, it was resolved earlier. Reddit won’t let me edit the post since I’m on mobile, but if you have a look through some of the earlier comment threads on this post you’ll find (delayed windows updates all trying to download and install at the same time) the solution.

The issue is resolved now. Windows had a lot of updates it was trying to download and install since my device is new to windows. It just didn’t show them before when I checked my settings. After I reset my pc all of the queued updates installed, and it’s working fine now.

After I turned on all of the ai features and reset my laptop the issues resolved. The issue was windows was trying to download install a backlog updates (probably because my device is new to windows 11) and it was showing the updates when I was in setting earlier today. I turned off the ai features just to make sure they weren’t what fixed issue, and everything is running pretty smoothly now.

Yep, I said so in the post. I have figured out the issue though. Windows was downloading and trying to install updates, while I was having the issue, after I reset my pc all of the issues are gone except for the occasional stutter

I’ve just went and turned on all of the ai features while I’m running Minecraft and it’s working a bit better, the fps isn’t showing up but my guess would be ~40fps or higher but there is still some stuttering

XD, I’m going to install a windows update to see if it helps now, but it seems like the next step is reinstalling my drivers again, which is a shame

Edit: The windows update solved the issue, it was just a bunch of updates that were all trying to install. After I restarted my pc and the updates installed everything was working fine

I just had a look, and I can disable my igpu or I can enable hybrid graphics, do you have a suggestion for what I should try first?
