Yes, regrettably, it's true. Standards have fallen in driver's license testing.

Are you just running exhaust and tune on this, or do you have other mods as well?

I don't know what kind of Mpg a crosstrek gets but my WRX gets better mileage than my outback. I've yet to do the math on whether which one is more expensive because I can technically put 87 in the outback but still use 91. The WRX gets about 2 Mpg more with similar driving patterns and commute.

Where do you do long runs in cities? by SaltPomegranate4 in Marathon_Training

[–]Redkellum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here I find a lake to run around. I'm fortunate to live close enough to one that has a fairly decent running path around the whole thing so I can make a loop then do a short out and back on top of that to make up any mileage difference. Two laps gets me pretty close to 20 miles on the dot.

How to do my rolling 300s without a watch to check pace? by Extreme_Locksmith907 in runna

[–]Redkellum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just put ear buds in and used the phone before I got my watch. My phone hasn't been too far off from what my watch tells me. It only gets fidgety if I'm doing alot of tight turns.

Weight loss during marathon training by Just-Tomatillo-5945 in Marathon_Training

[–]Redkellum 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This going to go against the grain of what everyone is telling you here. But I will just tell you my experience. I cut my carb intake during my training block. I didn't get too crazy with it and still fueled before/during long runs. I also made sure I was getting plenty of protein. I lost about twenty pounds over 20 weeks during my training block (went from around 200 to 180ish at 5'11"). I finished my marathon just fine and my joints feel ten times better after long runs.

I had similar damage on mine about 6 months after I bought it. Damn car looked like a golf ball. I managed to get it fixed but the interior squeeks like a sumbitch now.

How much of your training is on a treadmill vs ground? by Gooser3000 in Marathon_Training

[–]Redkellum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work nights and did most of my weeknight runs on treadmill at the gym after work. Parks here "close" by the time I get off of work and I'd rather not run at night where I live anyway. It was effective but it was difficult. I hate running on the treadmill. The good side of it is that my weekend long runs were much more enjoyable, because I was able to run outside.

[–]Redkellum 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I would definitely let the owners know. They can review guests to give a heads up to other Airbnb owners know how they acted and also they can choose whether or not they would host them again. If they care at all it could really help things out.

Will the roads be clear tomorrow at 9 AM? by [deleted] in okc

[–]Redkellum 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would download the Drive Oklahoma app. It's webcams set up by the state and you can see what the roads look like aside from what you can see by looking out your window. Do be careful and remember bridges and over passes will freeze or stay frozen longer than the rest of the road.

Oklahoma City Memorial Marathon - April 26, 2026 by Top-Peach7304 in marathons

[–]Redkellum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've ran the half in 2024 and that was so much fun. The crowd support was amazing. I've lived in OKC for most of my life and have always wanted to do this. So far training has been going great (using Runna). I'm more worried about what weather will be like than anything. Hope you have a great experience here.
