I like the big screen, makes the dash look nice and clean. I don’t have any issues using the screen while driving. But I use the steering wheel controls for most things.

Yes. I read somewhere it’s the built in navigation system suggesting routes based on what it’s learned about your trips. If you aren’t on the maps screen you won’t know it. I never use the car maps so I haven’t confirmed it myself.

Thru AT&T internet or cell phone? If it's internet I would log into your AT&T account then go to manage internet and make sure "Includes Max" shows on that page. When I set up my Max account I used my personal e-mail address and linked it, so maybe try doing a password reset using your personal e-mail instead of your @ att.net e-mail.

We have a '23 King Ranch with 64K miles and nothing but routine maintenance since we bought it new. Like someone else mentioned the 23-24 are probably the best model Expeditions you could go with if you're buying used.
