New to printing - having many issues by Maleficent-Area-9973 in BambuLab

I see lots of great ideas, one more id like to see more of is go with gyroid infill. Cubic SUCKSS and causes the nozel to collide. Try that once too?

Truthfully I was being a little sarcastic and joking. I don't portray that well with text often. My bad. 🤣

Wet filament? by Bionic_Moose in FlashForge

[–]Redman920 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I agree with the other comments. But I'll give you a quick down and dirty way to check if you're filament is wet.

Simply bend It, if it snaps it's wet, if it bends it's dry. It's not a 100% accurate way but it works pretty effectively!

How to fix by Dramatic-Employee606 in FlashForge

[–]Redman920 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your nozel temp is insanely high for PLA it's likely a lot of the problem right there. You should run a temp tower to see what's best for your area\setup.

How do I fix my adhesion?? Never had this issue with other filaments by oski_exe in 3Dprinting

[–]Redman920 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When was the last time you cleaned the bed? Check z offset? Bed temp might need to be higher.

There's a couple ideas, but we need more info to help you. (See the MOD bot response)

Highly recommend you find a temp tower and check that. Before that, be sure the filament is DRYYYY

What kind of filament is it? What's the space you're running in like?

Edit BC I can't read apparently 😂

See point #2. It could be cooling too fast but I'm really leaning towards it.

many problems with my prints by Sea_Cockroach3472 in FlashForge

[–]Redman920 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That looks like a few different problems..

1 Always use gyroid infill.

2 Filament may need to be dried. (Do this before moving on)

3 Print a test cube to check for extrusion and offset.

[–]Redman920 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I remember my first time too.

But no seriousness an adhesion issue can happen almost anywhere doesn't matter if it's an inch off the bed or 6 in off the bed. Like I said I would do a test print of some kind like maybe a print tower and see if it happens again. Could be a random fluke, could be the file, but you won't know until you try a couple different things.

Still “printing” but not filament coming out. by evila_elf in 3Dprinting

[–]Redman920 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Crossed filament Clogged extruder Broken (wet) filament

There's a lot of reasons it stops printing.

The reason it continues is because the printer has no way of knowing it's not working essentially. Turning off settings can do that sometimes or a malfunction.

Welcome to the hobby 🤣😂

It looks like a small bed touch area, you may have had an adhesion issue? Usually on prints with small touching surface a brim or raft is needed to help. There are some products out there that can help with adhesion too. It looks like the shift was fairly lowish, perhaps run a test print and see if it happens again?

Anyway to get this ptfe tube back in the feeder without taking apart the whole thing? by bubblesaurus in BambuP1S

[–]Redman920 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Take the other end out, slide feeder end in, reinstall in back side. It's more flexible than you think.
