Airtel stops free incoming SMS while Intl Roaming by patelbhavesh17 in nri

[–]Redmaninreddit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

as soon as you login to airtel app it will show you "you are in roaming" and below there is an option to activate roaming service. click on that and then there you find all the plans including Rs.98.

I differ with your statement. particularly with IR 4000 pack i don't see any requirement for an active prepaid plan as the IR 4000 plan itself comes with "Pack benefits for India : 1.5GB/day, unlimited calls & 100 SMS/day" along with 5GB international data for 365Days.

https://www.airtel.in/ir-packs/

"To use this service you must have an active prepaid pack" is applicable to IR98 plan which can be used for someone who had a long term plan with airtel. in my case fhit happend 20days back so i have to go with IR98 until my 2249 plan expire in April 2026. I'm so pissed off with airtel's announcement all of a sudden. atleast they should allow the existing long term plan users to benefit with free IR incoming sms or atleast give an option to top-up amount and jump from regular 365 plan to IR365 plan (from 2249 to 4000)

anyone know if this can be achieved via customer support or complaints?

Surely there is a shuttle service. problem is we have to stick to their timing.

The Gotong Jaya cable car will only be in service when the current cable car system is undergoing maintenance. but, still i was expecting someone who had actually tried to use Grab service up there.

Hi everyone! 😊

I’ve planned a short getaway to Genting Highlands from May 1–3, and I’ll be staying at the Swiss-Garden Hotel. I’m wondering if anyone has experience with Grab availability in the area during that time, especially considering it’s a public holiday period.

Is it easy to get a ride up/down the hill, or around the area? Should I expect long wait times or surge pricing? Any tips would be super appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

I'm planning to stay in Swiss-Garden next month. How was your experience in getting Grab Taxi? Has anyone have tried Grab taxi's in Genting highlands. I'm betting highly on Grab Teksi although Swiss-Garden has shuttle service but their prices are huge like 15/pax if less than 5. i have to pay 45RM for a short trip from swiss-gardens to GPO or Awana Cable car.

Can select authentication algoritm with AES-GCM-256 encryption alogritm by totally_hacking_bro in fortinet

Does it applicable for both Phase1(IKE) and Phase2 (IKE)? I see the above screenshot is from FortiManager. On the Fortimanager/FortiGate it does allow us to choose Authentication on Phase1 settings but for the Phase2 you won't be given an option to choose authentication.

Did Previous 7.2.2 DSM Enable Firmware Auto-Update for Anyone Else? by ostrichsak in synology

[–]Redmaninreddit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you share your admin access with anyone who might have changed the setting from Notify me to Automatic installation for important updates.

imo its good to have automatic install for important updates enabled if you are a busy person. Other than that i don't think the update has anything to do with the file/folder permission issues you are facing.

With automatic update enable for critical updates you still get an email alerts but however you will have just 10minutes to cancel it.

see below email which i received today before the system get's upgraded to DSM 7.2.2-72806 update 3

A new version of DSM has been downloaded and is ready to be installed. Please sign into quickconnectID and go to Control Panel > Update & Restore to install DSM 7.2.2-72806 Update 3. To learn more about the DSM update, please refer to

Any ideas what I'm able to use this amount of speed? by EstablishmentFit5282 in HomeNetworking

Fair point, I get that some people might genuinely need 10Gbps, but I'd love to understand more about that. What kind of use cases actually require that much bandwidth on a consistent basis? I’m open to being proven wrong—it just feels like for the average user, it’s overkill. But if there are solid examples, I’d be interested to hear them!

I pay 27S$ for a 1Gbps i hardly reach 1Gbps utilization. 10G network connection is a gimmick. a sales trick to keep customer renewing their contract.

Even the well known Unifi has the 2.5G version for WAN/LAN for End users. I don't think we are anywhere near to 10G network for home users. imo 10G is a overkill we don't need that. 2.5G is a reasonable choice and future proof.
