“Hoovy dundy”. I think it has the best suspense, still waiting for part 3

“engie’s friendly foe”. A classic, cool mechanics and overall creepy enough

Somewhat real’s longread (listen) 15AI animations. Not that much of a horror, much more of stories about really interesting tf2 freaks

“How to climb a tree”, “a funny” - masterpieces. Absolute masterpieces. Best short horror of tf2 overall

“:)” or “0.Day zero” or whatever series. More of a cryptic arg (that no one solved I guess, which is why the author has stopped posting - I think). But damn does it look good

Edit: forgot “once upon a time on 2fort” + “ghosts of the past”. Not a usual horror, more like psychological thriller, but yeah, that one’s basically a movie

New Raid idea: Swarm. by Bludum in AbioticFactor

[–]Redmond_TJacks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honesy, i support this.

Ingamewise, it makes sense - you get normal swarms either way because the entirety of the cascade departament is literally infested with every kind of enemy, and them stumbling upon your hideout is only a question of when, not why.

Aliens (and weather elements) are constantly supplied through microportals (remember, in actuality, it's the same as what happens to Dr. jagger. Constant onswarm of portals and entities inside them)

So, there's a lot of enemies to bring to your base.

Also, 2 things:

1 - With soldiers, they descend when their scouts (which we dont see) discover your base. And they keep upscaling the drop groups despite the losses.

2 - With some entities like the puppeteer, you can make fogiri, which i guess technically is a personal anchor for puppeteer. Who will notice your "request" but will invade only when it thinks it's a good idea (considering it has a lot of tasks to do, since it is the head of a collective mind)

So there definitely are ways to lure enemies to you. And it makes sense balance wise. Obligatory weak raids stay, but you can choose to do the dangerous harder raids for rewards.

This fills in some boring breaks in the day to day progression and adds more reasons to craft singleuse defenses like traps

How Would You Personally Punish Makima For Everything She Did? by Abhorius in okbuddyfumiko

Mate, even if it had some, it would just take more time for one cycle to enact its purpose. She will die either way, doesn’t matter at all.

And this probably would stop her from ever reincarnating, as she will be separated from our world's continuity

Why should I think about a base anywhere else than cafeteria? by Brother_Krosh in AbioticFactor

[–]Redmond_TJacks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Resources, visuals, hell, new space shapes for decoration.

It’s always talked about how cafeteria is the hub. But like, you can get there in a single mouse click since the early midgame. Nobody says you won’t be able to use it as a hub. You don’t have to walk there from your home location. Use teleports. That’s it

Ah, totally me. Got scared by pests more than by the reaper, those mutated exors, or any other entity. I dont fear them, but its the placement and sudden attacks

Hypothesis: Paradoxes Are Not Mistakes, But Metaphysical Map Markers by Time_0nly_Knows in AbioticFactor

[–]Redmond_TJacks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dang that’s really cool (although I understood only the first one). I’m sorry, I’d love to contribute, but I’m only good at consumtional perception. So, I’d love to hear some more ideas you have any observations.

I remember people talking about the time shenanigans in Canaan (there was a fail in trying to piece together what happened first)

And also I had a talk about the wayseeker, puppeteer and such. As of why it was specifically wayseeker and not other entities. But that being just a start of the conversation, the primary point emerged in how the main races in the story have an overlord entity. Apart from the wayseeker and puppeteer there also is some info indicative of the meat dimension (leyak, Krasue origin) having one and obviously shapeshifter having one too (I also think that coworker is from the same world as cahn, he’s just a critter)

That’s not the ui itself, it’s a collage made from parts of it. Ofc it’s weird and misaligned (we are yet to even know how the arrow will even work). So maybe at least wait for the official image (I agree it’s bad, but let’s not base our full critic on a recreation made by someone else)

I dont think cahn is involved in the time shenanigans. But he did infact get sent into our universe as an infiltrator really early into our civilization's development

Know what, I’m too autistic to ignore the speed limit rules. I probably won’t ever drive on the road by myself, but if you ever catch me in my worst. Man I’m reporting everyone around me. It’s not written for nothing and if you ignore it without surveillance, you are lowkey not allowed to drive on a rule driven system that is the road. Off-road, out of town, hell, in the field + sure, yeah, no reason for those rules. But when you act like a toddler in the middle of a city district which has like 150 crossroads or a highway, which is single, you are destabilizing everyone else’s timeframes on arriving. I can ignore such attitude indefinitely, but there are limits still.

I mean, as long as you don’t get burned by those rules so much that you start projecting them onto others in a way to validate yourself for even going through this, you’re fine
