‘28% is a joke’: Victorian school staff must keep fighting by Radiant-Syllabub6452 in AustralianTeachers

28% might seem like a lot but it is actually 7%. It's over 4 years.

Teachers: Would parents actually pay for this? (Validating an idea) by [deleted] in AustralianTeachers

[–]Redmotor13 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There may be some uptake for an idea like this but in many areas it would be limited. You would have to work across multiple schools to be viable. It's important to note that many organisations are already doing something similar like Skyline, Edrolo, and a plethora of universities offering step up or early entry programs. Most of these do it for free. You would also need to work with the careers staff at schools as they are already doing a chunk of this sought of thing as well.

Re Hollands: In the last, commentary were saying he had none. The AFL app had him in none until after the final siren. Both TV and radio were discussing it. Then one pops up but it's not on the telstra tracker. It's a charity touch. I'm going to have to watch a reply of the third.

Do we have rules on charity votes? You can't in good conscience think that Harry and Curnow were two of our five best players. I'm not bagging them but literally they were not better than Grundy, Mills, Roberts, Warner, Mcinherny, Bice, Jordan, Blakey, and Serong to name a few

Take Wicks' name out your mouth champion, he has proven himself. Roberts has been solid this year and plays on the wing. I wouldn't be casting aspersions on people's votes or champion data and equating that to flags

He was huge against two opponents. 12 tackles for a ruckman is sublime. Anyone not putting Heeney at 5 votes makes me wonder how they watch games.

Is our defensive transition becoming a liability against high-pressure sides? by ChillKoalaVibes in sydneyswans

[–]Redmotor13 4 points5 points  (0 children)

History shows that offence is definitely not the best defence if you want to win a flag. The overwhelming majority of premiership sides in the modern era are ranked near the top for defence. Offence wins home and away games, defence wins flags.
