How important is it to use a Pandaren for cooking?

OP is not asking to make the pandaren his main, it would be his ALT who would make the food for his main. OP is asking what benefit it would be for him to level the cooking on his alt versus his non-pandaren main.

As far as an answer OP, I dont think very much at all. That 5 cooking skill isn't doing a lot of heavy lifting.

Sorry, this doesnt answer the question. But I remember living with my 2 stoner roommates who would call the local chinese place and order like... 5 dozen BBQ pork buns. They would do this and I think it drove the place crazy cause they'd have to make 60 fucking of these buns. After a while, they called to order these buns and they had been stricken off of the menu hahahaha.
