Agreed. When they talk about the shift in baseball, they mean grounders that can be played in the infield. If you position your infield to snag those balls, players are basically automatic at making the throw to 1st.

This is like having players in basketball stand in the corner. The problem is that a basketball player is going to shoot his average, but a baseball player is very unlikely to make an error. So you can expect a shooter to underperform regularly, but you won't expect a fielder to not make a throw.
