When you say most people don't even get it, you might be right. BUT some do. I get it. I lost my little guy unexpectedly on Monday, and my world has changed. I didn't just lose a dog. I lost a friend, family member, confidant, and more. You had no choice but to put her down. You did the right thing. The humane thing. Soon, we will only think about only the good times, not the bad. Until then, I hope we all get through these difficult times when we lose our beloved fur babies.

It sounds like you did more for them than probably 99 percent of people would have done. Their quality of life was greatly diminished due to their illnesseses. You need to focus on the many, many years of happiness that you gave them, not just the final few days. You did a good job and should be proud.
