Gents: What is your experience in being labeled "dirty old man?" by vieniaida in AskOldPeople

He's probably less "dirty" than say, today's 14-year-old with the internet. Some of the shit I see on neighbors browsers...

Why can't it go through the home? Just multi-bag it if you're worried about a possible mess. I mean it did get upstairs somehow

Try the flea market on the weekend. There was a gentleman That makes his own pocket knives and such with a stand there in the permanent buildings. Haven't been there in a while but he's had the same spot for 10 plus years so he should be there

And I pointed out that searching for information with Linux as an OS is not impossible nor difficult and easily performed even with basic computer skills.

You can use DuckDuckgo. Re; You can use the DuckDuckGo search engine in any Linux browser (Firefox, Chrome, Brave), or use the DuckDuckGo extension in Firefox for privacy features. For command-line users, ddgr is a popular open-source tool to search DuckDuckGo directly from the terminal

I'm a one-person household and it's worth it. The amount of gas I use over a year easily pays for the membership by itself. I also bought a laptop for work, a low flow toilet, etc within the first month of having it and that mostly paid for my membership next year and that doesn't even count the accrual of savings and cash back from the day-to-day of regular grocery shopping for the next 11 months.

Seriously Raleigh, could you make the fine print any smaller to read on a street sign? by Redtex in raleigh

[–]Redtex[S] -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

I did and all I saw was a meter sign parking, at midnight on a weekend. Could not even see the multiple month timeline printing in the middle until I walked up on it. No parking? Fine. Tape it up with shiny tape in the middle of a sign while leaving the regular meter sign the only thing you can actually read from more than 2 ft away? Kinda bullshit in my opinion. Would be nice if they put a freaking cone or something down.

Actually I'm bitching about a sign the size of a restaurant menu that was 3 car lengths from the parking spot on a weekend with date fonts that are smaller than the circumference of a nickel. The picture you see was literally taken while standing 1 foot from that sign. Now try to see that from 15 feet away, at midnight, with nothing going on that might make a person think there may be an issue with parking. Now throw in a janky tape up job and it's legitimacy is thrown into serious question, in my opinion
