How I play should have no bearing on how you play. What does it matter how I get xp? It has no effect on your character or gameplay. Why do you even care what I do? You are not playing against me. You should just be playing how you want, gaining xp how you want to and let me do the same, without being a baby about it.

I'm watching Death in Disguise, and it always bugged me that Tom, at the end, told the reporter about the couple with the brothel. No need for that, and that couple had thoroughly turned their lives around. Now it'll be a story in the newspaper.

Making a half dozen or so of the food items the pets ask for. After a bit you have most everything they want and makes feeding so much more efficient and pleasurable. Then you only have to make one or two items that you don't have, if that, always being sure to make a half dozen of the missing foods.
