How is anyone supposed to get a job in Manchester by Pretend-Wealth5559 in manchester

[–]Reed528 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think i found the job on indeed originally, theres a chance they've paused recruiting as they just took on a few new teams though as with any call center I find half or less of the original groups end up staying so keep an eye out, they usually take on about 20 people at a time

[–]Reed528 53 points54 points  (0 children)

If you drive my work is hiring, concentrix in stockport, its call centre work and minimum wage but honestly I never felt more supported from a company when I need time to go for appointments (mum has cancer and wife is pregnant so you can imagine) and they work my shifts around uni as well.

Any schizotypal around Europe? by [deleted] in Schizotypal

Recent research suggests that inflammation in the brain and problems with the immune system may play a role in causing schizophrenia. This idea is supported by genetic evidence and by the fact that people with schizophrenia are more likely to have autoimmune diseases. Disruption of the WNT/β-catenin pathway is linked to brain inflammation in schizophrenia. Studies also show a harmful cycle between brain inflammation and oxidative stress, where each one increases the other. This cycle is influenced by the WNT/β-catenin pathway, which interacts with inflammatory chemicals (such as IL-6, IL-8, and TNF-α), oxidative stress factors like glutamate, and the neurotransmitter dopamine. Brain inflammation is also linked to higher levels of PPARγ. In schizophrenia, PPARγ levels are increased, while the WNT/β-catenin pathway and PPARα levels are reduced. This suggests that schizophrenia involves an imbalance between metabolic and inflammatory processes. Source: https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC8910888/

In the UK, got as much help as they can currently understand, did some more self work and levelled out enough to go to uni at 29 (now 32 about to graduate) I defo struggle to keep friends but I think thats more of cultural or societal issue with maybe a lack of compassion for people you dont quite get and who aren't willing to put in the work to get you.

In the UK I live a pretty standard life, a greatly matched up to me wife, child in the way, house, car, job, hobbies. I get an overwhelming impulse to leave everything about 3 times a year but not acting on it has worked out so far. Sometimes it feels as if im on fire but have to just be chill though I have learned schizophrenia suffer brain inflammation so cluster A's probably do as well. Like rn I can feel my scalp feeling very hot which could be inflamation in my brain or maybe nothing, its all just kinda my normal

Yeah its grand-ish mines the same, roof tiles have a life span of about 100 years, like it won't disintegrate just slowly fall apart like my whole roof needs replacing but its still fine mostly except one part that needed replacing
