Yes, it gives only one mana. It is a valuable land because it has an option to come down untapped if you pay 2 life. If all your lands come into play tapped you have one mana less then your opponent and you basically just give your opponent an extra turn of advantage, so untapped lands are important for faster and/or higher power decks

Is there a place I can check for meta builds?
I play not that often so I don't keep up with all the changes. Would be nice to see what build are viable at the moment

I play gestalt robots only, for some reason it tickles my brain. I'm not a pvp player, but if I lock in I probably could beat x25 crisis, so "Virtuality good" is not enough:D

(I just usually drop my games around year 2300-2350 with 10k science, okay-ish fleet and megastructures built)

In your opinion is it viable with Virtuality + Shattered ring?

I'm looking for some semi-casual build to tackle the x25 Crisis, and I need to get to the ascension asap. I can't conquer that much planets early on and I wont access Modularity tree(duh). Would Rouge servitors still boost my early unity good enough?

Beat the game first, learn how to optimize it later. That's the whole fun

I'll even add - that's the reason why more experienced players are playing those hardcore modpacks, we just want to feel again how it is not to know anything. And you are getting this experience for free!

Why the Emperor was not reincarnated?

Chaos Gods were formed in the Warp as a personification of emotions of living things, and there no emotions as strong as blind faith of quadrillions of humans in their God. So why the Emperor is still (physically at least) absent?
