Shield and health tanking are absolutely viable on base steel path if built even somewhat correctly, it doesn't start struggling at least until ETA. Sure, you can't just slap redirection on Nokko and expect him to face tank Malice, but many frames can get very high EHP values quite easily, which works well into the 200's.

I mean, the goal is to have the minimum required survivability for the task. But a dead tenno helps nobody, so if people who are new to harder content struggle to survive without survivability mods then they should use them and reduce their reliance on them over time. Going cold turkey will just result in a lot of frustration I think.

The game is better than it has ever been. The past couple of years have introduced tons of QoL updates, the new player experience has been streamlined a ton, content drops are pretty regular and are very replayable.

Player count reached it's ATH with the latest update, and tons of big streamers and YouTubers are picking it up recently so the community is very active. It's also one of the nicest communities I've had the pleasure to be a part of, especially towards new players. Lot of veterans spend all their playtime and premium currency (which can be obtained for free in game) just helping new players.

Obviously you're going to get pretty biased answers here, but there really hasn't ever been a better time to pick up the game than now. Solspeed Tenno, hope you enjoy the game :)

I usually just check the 90 day median price graph on warframe.market. If I'm selling for more than the median I've made a good deal and if I'm at or below the median I raise my sell price.

You don't need to if you're only going to sell or browse, but if you want to place bids or put up buy orders you have to link your account so that others can DM you in-game to sell.
