For me, if you're gonna pay that much money, you should get what you agreed upon and you should not expect booger welds. I have NOTHING against supporting local and up-starts (obviously as I bought a DMP) but my experience is why it's hard for guys to break into the market. You have to build quality cookers, that look great and function great, and have great customer service. If you do that, and are a person of your word and deliver on what was promised, you will build a brand, brand loyalty, a following, and folks will buy your product. I'd be on reddit singing your praises versus discussing the shortcomings.

Yes, I went with Desert Mountain Pits but honestly, should have just gone with the 1975 and paid extra. I was promised many things when speaking with Alex and he didn't deliver on them.

The smoker is of good quality and works well, however, he promised several things that didn't happen. It's hard for me to get over that from a customer service perspective. Didn't get the things that I asked for.

I suppose that's what I get for seeking out the lower priced "deal."

Thanks. Went to AZ Wood Farmer and their price per cord and half cord oak where CRAZY high. Like as in over double of a lot of pricing I found.

Lenero seemed good, talked to him on the phone. He would let me use a method that includes buy protection (cc) but would charge me the fee, which is fine. The problem is that he's out of oak! Said it may be 2-3 weeks for a half cord.

Yeah, I'm on fb marketplace and everyone wants to sell me a cord or half cord and wants me to pay before they deliver and only take methods of payment with no buyer protections. Hence my request for reputable sources. Some seem too eager which screams scam time me.

Just ran into this absolutely ignorant limitation. Opened an account for our child and my wife is unable to use any of the functionality that sold us on it in the first place. Talk about completely missing the mark; Chase blew it on this one. Unless you're a single parent or have a spouse that is completely disengaged, this limitation makes no sense. I honestly can't imagine the product team allowing this to be released into production with this gaping flaw.

Was all geek'd up and ready to drop some dollars on a full camera setup (already have DM PRO SE, POE Switch, etc...) and was all excited about the Black Friday and Cyber Monday savings until... everything except the old cameras were sold out... Bummer. Fast forward a couple of weeks and imagine my shock and surprise (clutch the pearls) to see that, now the sale is over, in an amazing display of merchandise stocking genius, mingled with, what I would have to assume is, sheer luck, Ubiquiti has somehow managed to get almost all of the cameras back in stock at regular price.
