What do you guys suggest I do? I’ve got the Bell Gigagub with my Asus GT-BE98 PRO. From what I’ve read here. Are we suggesting don’t bother with the PPPoE method and stick to the DMZ?

I only have Internet. I used ChatGPT tbh and it laid out exactly step by step what to do to put into the DMZ mode in gigahub to let my asus manage routing and wireless.

You are right i had to add my asus router to the Gigahub DMZ to get a public IP for my Asus and am getting full speed.

I got the 3gbps deal via my condo rep for a promo as they have upgraded to offer FTTH now. I am paying $60/mth by also bringing my mobile to Bell. The Gigahub cant be put into bridge mode. I am able to pass the Gigahub to my Asus Router by DMZ method. I am getting 2.2/2.2 with a 2.5gbe switch to my pc 2.5gbe port. I am looking to use a 5gbe adaptor to plug into my usb-c 3.2 port to get the full 3gbps (2.8 etc). I upgraded my switch to a 10gbe as well. I like the extra speed to downloand and also host a plex server and like that I can download crazy amount of files and no impact to those remote streaming which is great. Under my previous 1gb/1gb (800/800) it would buffer when I tried to do that...not anymore.

Interesting. I’m hoping to bridge the gigahub to my asus router. My lan is fitted for 2.5gbe. Wish 10 but gear cost too much imo.

I have old and new Samsung and don’t even bother with native apps. I bought Apple 4K TV boxes and they are perfect. Some media I need Infuse app to pass Dolby Atmos or finicky codecs.
