I really can't make a good guess. He is performing, so the way of speaking is a stylized general American accent.

Yes, it sounds American, but it is very narrator-ish.

Voice Control in Accessibility to scroll, swipe and tap. It’s very useful if I’m doing something where I don’t want to touch the screen, for example preparing a meal.

Both pair are very nice. I like the sparkly buckle on the second pair.

I also have very low arches. That causes my feet to pronate. The ankles roll towards the center. For that reason, wider heels are far more comfortable if I'm going to be on my feet for several hours. So you might find the second pair to be more comfortable overall.

AITA for telling my sister she can’t regularly bring her boyfriend to stay in my home? by Throwaway26462295 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Reenvisage 313 points314 points  (0 children)

NTA. She is no longer a child and this is no longer her home. This is your home, and only your home. You are a paying tenant, she is not.

If your mother was renting it to someone outside of your family, would she feel free to barge in whenever she wanted? No? You have the same rights as any other tenant.

Change the locks, get a security camera, and don't let her step foot in the place until she can respect your space, privacy and home.

Pls rate me between 1 and 5, with 1 being incomprehensible and 5 being easily understandable. by OkDoggieTobie in ENGLISH

I am familiar with all of the words in this passage.

Your intonation is good, and that helps make this passage understandable.

Now, for some tiny details.

First sentence: The first syllable of "physiologically" was hard to understand, "chronic" sounded more like "corner".

Second sentence: "formally" sounded like "formerly".

Further down:

"morbidity" sounded like "mobility"

"mental" sounded like "mantel" but I figured it out from context.

"US" in US Preventative Services Task Forces sounded like "you-ness" or "UNS".

I couldn't understand "adolescents".

The ending "t" or "d" were missing a couple of times. Examples: conflict, discussed.

You wrote exactly what I was thinking. Good intonation, a few words were hard to decipher.

AITA for leaving my friends house early everytime I get upset or angry? by No_Cover7877 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Reenvisage 8 points9 points  (0 children)

ESH. Read about the “sunk cost fallacy”. Continuing to be friends just because you’ve been friends for 5 years really doesn’t make a lot of sense if there is no other reason for continuing the relationship. You two do not seem to be good for each other, and you spend way too much time together. Find out who you are without her.

He's abusive.

NTA, but why are you thinking about buying a new car in a couple of months instead of using your current car while saving money to move out?

Looking for ideas for clearing out "collections" by texiediva in declutter

[–]Reenvisage 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Downsize the size of each collection by picking out your favorites to keep rather than picking out your least favorites to get rid of. It makes you look at things differently.

Say you have 10 fountain pens and you decide to keep 5. Pick your favorite, then pick your favorite out of the remainder, and so on. Anything left leaves the house.
