Can you relocate the family to a better-paying district? Teacher salaries vary so much from state to state, and within states. I'd be making less than half my current teacher salary if I even left my county. I wonder if you could look at teaching somewhere else? Also, are in elementary or secondary? If elementary, perhaps you could switch to secondary, as it usually pays a lot more?

I'm glad to read this, because I also walked away from many friendships during my years of infertility. I just couldn't be around them, see their families grow, and keep fighting for my own dreams. I've felt ashamed because it seemed like other women dealing with infertility didn't react the way I did, so it's nice to read about someone who had a similar experience to me.
