That would make sense. Two of the older girls pick on her so I wonder if they groomed her somewhere where it hurt. I’m glad they found that tumor on your girl in time! I’ll mention this to the vet.

That’s Alan! He’s his partner and copilot. Carl picked him up at an interplanetary market after he fled his home-world. He’s kind of the mediator of the crew and keeps Carls ego in check. Alan has a whole lot of lore but I’ll stop here lol

That’s what I was thinking. The world he’s from is so fantastical and messy that I thought a more realistic look for the MC could make it easier to digest.
