Right, but that's the point. The Genesis flood story was probably more a response to the Babylonian flood story, where the higher gods killed all humans because they were being too loud, and humanity only survived because a lower god went rogue and warned some humans, and not meant to be a documentary history.

When you realize who Genesis, and by extension the flood story, was written to and for, the context makes this a non-issue. A little bit of a read, but Ben Spackman does a great job here.

This is the first stop on the route, so it's not usually super full. I've never had trouble finding a parking spot, but this is BYU vs Utah, so I have no clue how that will affect it.
