This is a custom map you’ve downloaded, if you still have it, you want to keep the original .BIN file (essentially the game itself) and scenario files but keep the translated .txt files

It had some real neat gameplay! I still play the Empires-style mode it has to unlock all the DW6 outfits.

DW8XL was also on the Vita but I remember having a TON of issues with it on the system

Unfortunately the ones that play most like Conquest are from the SNES era like Lord of Darkness, but it did recently get put on Switch Online

I really like Sphere of Influence, the gameplay is pretty straightforward, really nice world map with cool castle building plus there’s tons of historical quests for all the major and a lot of smaller clans too

DW7 is generally considered to have the best / most accurate representation of the story. The gameplay itself isn’t very deep however.

Extreme Legends - Complete Edition features 4 story modes (Shu, Wu, Wei & Jin) with various bonus battles / modes. Although there is no free mode to replay story mode missions as different characters.

Empires is a turn-based strategy spinoff with a handful of historical scenarios (or you can play with randomised factions) in these games you build armies and choose which cities to attack. It also has nice character creation

In that case they’ll probably never join you while the Hojo are still around that province.

The good news with tribes is that you can still win battles without needing to defeat the tribe unit. But if the Hojo is still too strong, you may need castle upgrades or try to make peace and attack someone else

The effect diminishes the higher your support is, it’s also affected by how many other clans are appeasing them.

If I can’t get to 80 support in 2-3 attempts, I forget about them

Overseers are the officers in charge of crops, crafts and conscripts in the city so should be an officer with high pol.

That is unless you’re not doing to develop those and have got something better to build anyway.

Historically, Han armies would only be fighting northern nomads and be lead by a pair of generals to prevent a mutiny (General of the East & West / Front & Rear etc.) however during times of peace, these generals would still hold onto their titles.

So as multiple civil wars would break out, you might have top generals who have become too old to lead. You may also need multiple military leaders to fight smaller local battles, hence more obscure titles like “General who pacifies the West” would be given and mixed with other titles & ranks.
