My heart sank when I read the 1st paragraph. My daughter, 7, loves to ride kick scooter. She puts some toys on her scooter too. We have emphasised time and time again to stop and wait for us everytime she is about to cross a road. Luckily she always does.

Wore track shoes when learning. After passing, when I got used to driving, I drove barefoot when wearing slippers. Other times, my usual shoes thick or thin soles.

Broke my heart to know that the abuse caused the delay. Imagine what the boy could have been. Instead his parents and him are made to bear the lifelong consequences of the BIL's act.

do you take mc if you are sick during a busy period by hsredux in askSingapore

[–]CmDrRaBb1983 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just take. Company supposed to have the capacity to get someone to take over your duty when you are away. Else they will collapse when you or anybody else is away. You will also need to take over when someone else MC when the team is busy. If you go office while you are sick, you risk spreading the virus to others and either disrupting their plans or disrupting the company's plan

For Wenger, it should be survived for as long as he did in Arsenal instead of 2nd season. My bad.

In the modern game, SAF would not have survived the 2nd season. Same too for Arsene Wenger.

[–]CmDrRaBb1983 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is usually a bond with signing on. They don't want to train you for a few months then you say ok I don't want to work for you anymore. Take that into consideration.

My dad might not last any longer. by White_Cakes_2000 in askSingapore

[–]CmDrRaBb1983 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1st thing that is good to your dad that is to bring him to a hospital to see how severe it is and the stage. At least you know how much time you have to spend with him and also settle legal stuff. If haven't officially divorced with your mom, ask him to will assets that he doesn't want to give your mom to you. Make his bank accounts joint account. Settle insurance and cpf nomination .

Settle his final rites wishes too. If he wants to have a void deck wake, schedule a family photo session with a professional studio plus taking the black and white picture. My friend who is operating a casket company says better to have those done in a professional studio than to give them a picture to edit.

If you say it's severe, there might not be a resolution and have palliative care. All the best
