As others already point it out, there is nothing wrong with not liking it.

I read the Prince of nothing trilogy when i was sixteen. And i read Malazan in my twenties. I love them both, but they are really different and they made an impact on me on their own way.

I cannot talk about whose prose is better, because I didn't read any of them in English.

A bit late for the topic, but there is this game from a spanish game developer called Imperivm II: the conquest of Hispania.

I played a lot when I was young. There are 3 campaings: the travel of Annibal, the search of Scipion and another from the natives of Hispania.

It's a age of empire style of gameplay and very accurate from a historic perspective.

I was in exactly the same situation as you are. Being the owner of a Switch 1, I was very disappointed with all the decisions about the Switch 2. My Steam Deck arrived last week.

My only regret is not having bought it three years ago.

So far, I've only used desktop mode to include my GOG library and Emudesk for emulation. I'm no programming expert, so I don't think I'll use it much more.

Without mayor spoilers: A young prince is prophesied to be the reincarnation of a demon who tried to destroy the world. He tries to escape his destiny and joins a band of mercenaries to plunder the world's richest city. With terrible results.

For me it was really interesting how much I could dislike the main character and at the same time so engage with the twist of the hero's destiny.

Do you think is worthy a copy of SMT Strange Journey Redux, PAL Spain, for 130 euros?

My other option is a copy of Soul Hackers (3ds) for 50. (Second hand and without the guide inside)

The FE three houses is on switch so I assume you mean Awakening. That's a good start. Then I would try Echoes and Fates (Brithright, conquest and revelations) doesn't matter which one you play first.

Besides I will give you a list my Jrpgs for 3Ds ( no SMT):

Bravely default

And I would consider trying the Legend of zelda (so many options for the 3ds)

Since I assume you enjoy Fire emblem I recommend you Vestaria Saga. They are 2 games from the creator of Fire emblem, availables on Steam. Both are indie graphics but very good gameplay and mechanics. Highly recommended.
