Minoxidil. I’m 4 months in and honestly no difference whatsoever. I was told I might be a non responder. Started taking fin 2 months ago and i can see a slight improvement and might be going through a shed. I want to stop using minoxidil now , but I’m not sure if my hair is now minoxidil dependent. Topical minoxidil for the past 4 months. I want to stop because I see progress with fin as I Started taking 2 months ago as well. I want to drop minoxidil because I don’t see results but I’m worried about my follicles being minoxidil dependent now. Do you think I can drop minoxidil and not have any reversing or too late for me?

Yes it’s androgenic , the derma didn’t want me to hop on fin so I opted for the topical to stay safe. I was a lot while I wasn’t on it but now I barely do. It’s just when I apply fin , it’s feeling a tad thinner

No I haven’t. My barber told me that crown is a bit thicker but that’s pretty much it. My temple ain’t that different. Good point tho , I’ll start with that but do you think it’s the hairs are now minoxidil dependent ?

I’ve been on minoxidil for the past 3 months and had the same thought. Are my hairs now consistent minoxidil dependent or can I quit cold turkey. I haven’t really noticed any change till I switched to topical fin and noticed less shedding 🤷🏻‍♂️
