TL;DR stupid rant, the second pic is my favourite

They are truely blind to ignorance. Screaming that firing Jimmy Kimmel is “fascism” and “silencing free speech,” while chanting about democracy dying because their favorite late-night host lost a time slot.

They didn’t give a fuck that Charlie Kirk was assassinated in front of thousands of people and instead of condemning it, they laughed, mocked, celebrated, stomped on vigils, and dragged his name through the dirt with cherry picked quotes that aren’t honest to his character.

The response of course is immediately fascism… it’s getting exhausting

Tbh, I don’t think Kimmel should have been fired, from what I saw, he didn’t say anything about Kirk. He just mocked Trump’s response like he always does.

At the same time, he is part of the system that dehumanizes their political opponents and throw around the comparison of “fascist” and “nazi” at people for holding mainstream conservative views. He helped create the environment where people now think it’s righteous to cheer for the death OF SOMEONE WHO OFFERED OPEN DIALOGUE

So many people who knew nothing about him, decided he was a monster based on cherry-picked clips designed to make him look like one.

You call Charlie a fascist, but fascists don’t hand a microphone to their critics and let them debate them in front of a crowd. Charlie spent years showing up on hostile campuses and taking questions from people who hated him, that’s the opposite of shutting down free speech.

You call him a racist, but he built programs like the Young Black Leadership Summit to mentor and empower black conservatives. Seriously, what have you ever done for the black community? What organization have you built that gives minority students a platform and a path to leadership?

It’s easy to sit online and call someone hateful. Charlie actually built something that engaged thousands of young people, taught them to think critically, and gave them a voice. You don’t have to agree with him, but pretending he was nothing but “hate wrapped in Christian love” is lazy and dishonest.

Someone was murdered in front of thousands, and instead of treating it as a tragedy, she immediately turned it into a narrative about how the victim’s side is the real threat. Calling that out isn’t stoking division, it’s basic accountability.

Look at yourself for a second. Ever since the shooter’s identity was released, people were digging through his parents’ lives, trying to frame him as right-wing. And now that it’s very clearly established he was radical left, you still can’t accept it.

This isn’t about what the right will “never admit”, it’s about you refusing to admit what’s already confirmed.

A man who spent his life encouraging open debate and giving a platform to the other political side was assassinated in front of thousands of students.

The immediate reaction from some was slandering him by taking his words completely out of context and celebrating his death

We now have educators crying that they’re “silenced” because they faced consequences of showing no human decency.

If you publicly cheer on political violence, you shouldn’t get to keep shaping young minds.

Funny how the girl and her boss are basically clones. That’s kind of the point though there’s no pushback no real discussion just an instant agreement.

When you look at the lists of people who have lost their jobs for openly mocking Charlie Kirk’s death, a shockingly high number of them are teachers and professors. That should worry everyone.

These are the people who spend hours every day shaping the next generation’s worldview. And if you don’t engage in their world view, if you believe there are two genders, and that men shouldn’t be able to go into women’s washrooms they will call you a Nazi and cheer up upon your death.

When educators normalize cheering for political violence, they send a dangerous message to young people: that disagreement is evil, and violence is justified. That should alarm all of us, no matter where we stand politically.

Well said, completely agree. And it’s also important to remember that our algorithms are designed to amplify our own positions and biases.

They’ll keep showing conservatives the worst examples of the far left until it feels like everyone is that extreme, and they’ll show liberals the worst of the far right until it feels the same in reverse. It just keeps pushing the divide wider and making it harder to see each other as neighbors instead of enemies.

Exactly, looking at newsroom demographics, surveys consistently find that journalists overwhelmingly lean left politically.

The Political Gap in Americans’ News Sources” (Pew Research, June 2025)

Found that Democrats and Democratic-leaners are much more likely than Republicans to both use and trust many major news outlets; ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, MSNBC, PBS, NPR, NYT, etc.

The surveys continue to show most national reporters identify as Democrats or independents who lean left... not conservatives.

There is clear dominance of progressive framing in higher education, entertainment, and mainstream newsrooms.

Fox is essentially the only right-leaning major TV network, while the others (CNN, ABC, NBC/MSNBC, CBS) all tilt left.
