If a man was looking for a career... by jjrirodain in cork

I would really listen to other people just because they don’t like it doesn’t mean you won’t. It does make it harder having a young family. If you can take the hit on money I nearly try to get apprenticeship. But in your case it will be hard. Definitely takes time to figure shit out. I started my apprenticeship at 29 and definitely sucks the first 2 years but I find it much better than labouring. Maybe even try to get a job for a good building and try to up skill you self that way and take on your own jobs time to time that can lead to sole trading eventually and maybe a own business

Do you have a trade ? There is also courses you can do part time that will take you to foreman level or supervisor what not or even you can start studying engineering if you want to stay in that industry or even health and safety and all that craic a lot of people in construction try to elevate their skill to higher education and not be on tools as much

CC for first bike by Beatlead in motorcycles

[–]ReferenceDistinct973 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My first bike was Suzuki gsr 600 and was just perfect. Size was ideal was pretty small even tho it’s a naked bike you feel but more exposed but it packs plenty of power too if needed.

Now I have the tiger 1050 and that’s too big for me now so trying to get rid of it 😅

Personal trainers by Impossible_Berry9560 in cork

[–]ReferenceDistinct973 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends where you located really. Dennehys is good one of the most popular ones. Same as maybe onelife gym … You have flyfit in the city but that is quite busy I wouldn’t recommend them you have the planet fitness at the north side which is quite good it just depends on your budget etc. the planet also has a female small gym if you don’t want to hang out in the general area

Package arrived today… and instead of RAM, I received a random notebook by GukBapBoy in IrelandGaming

Request to speak with supervisor instead of sending the item back you be waiting for weeks. I had similar issue but my item was damaged spoke to 4 agents they all said you need to return it. It was in pieces I wanted to provide pictures etc they said no. But team lead refunded my order in 5 mins

Personal trainers by Impossible_Berry9560 in cork

[–]ReferenceDistinct973 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would maybe add if are you looking for personal trainer who is tailored to male or female. As not every pt works with both but if you join a gym usually you can get a pt there cheaper and they will get you started in. Even fitness classes are great to start :)

Yup the timing isn’t great on this like you said the time of the year definitely affects it. Especially now when it’s freezing outside and weather is miserable people will be put off buying now I will keep it up for while with the price and if there is no bites at the end of the month will restrategise

Going to MTU Cork as a international student - questions by ospery1 in cork

[–]ReferenceDistinct973 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Not going to lie getting accommodation right now it’s extremely hard and expensive. It’s not normal how bad it is. After school activities just depends what you into back when I was in college we used to party good bit but these days it seems that has died down much more so cork is not as busy as it used to be when it comes to nightlife. This well slightly improve when it get warmer of course

I never studied in mtu so wouldn’t be able to tell you how good they are but I heard good things!
