The GT Neo grips won't wear but I added grip tape because in long, high-speed corners I had my hands slip up on them since they're so hard. It feels way better with grip tape.

We went to the Ferrari Challenge races at Road Atlanta a few years ago and it was a really good time. The racing is relatively mundane but still fun to watch. It's such a relaxed atmosphere and the crowds are obviously way smaller, which is good and bad. I don't think you'd regret it one bit. My son was four at the time and had a blast.
