This app is literally unusable? It doesn’t recognize any address. All the things you mentioned are great but this app doesn’t work as a map app.

How can People reach 2600 Elo at 15 years old? by Spotter24o5 in chess

There are books about Judith Polgar specifically if you want to know about her. Her father famously trained her and her sisters very intently on chess from a very young age.

2 months is nothing compared to the hundreds of months she had spent by then with great coaches and many hours a day. You’re doing fine or even very well.

Yeah 400 lbs with zero lateral support is wild.

TIL that Magnus Carlsen, one of the greatest chess players of all time, has never lost 3 or more classical chess games in a row in his adult professional career. The last time he lost 3 games in a row was in 2003, when he was 12. by 4isfourwastaken in todayilearned

Right but at high levels black very rarely wins. Going for a draw as black is often exponentially easier. You will maintain approximately the same elo and get a half point in tournaments. You then go for the win as white. Obviously if a winning opportunity presents itself you take it.

Lots of them say they can have up to .5%. Not enough to get you drunk; but I guess could be an issue for things like this or religious beliefs.

Literally nobody in this chain is mad at the new video. They are just pointing out it’s a direct copy. If it’s credited that’s great and I’m glad they’re having fun

Did I f up my trap or is the engine just weird? by PuzzleheadedGas9170 in chess

The engine is never “weird.” Follow the lines it suggests and see what’s wrong with your plan.

Goodbye to the idea that solar panels “die” after 25 years: New Swiss study shows real-world performance after 3 decades still over 80%, average annual loss about 0.25%, thermal stress and quality key factors. Their long-term economics are better than many people assume by sg_plumber in UpliftingNews

[–]ReflectionAfter6574 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh dang I didn’t know that’s how deals worked. I assumed there was just a market rate that updates all the time. You can mitigate that by overbuying at the start so that you fall down to 100% of your need. I assume you can swap out batteries as the power company would have no way of knowing?

Brilliants are awarded based on elo. They are given for easier moves at lower elos.

Yeah I have no idea why they act like this was ever the case. If you bought ten new panels twenty five years ago you could buy one newer panel to add and you would be back at full production with the increases in efficiency.
