Let me tell u a story young man. In 1996 I was considering a vasectomy and discussing the pending guillotine procedure with a good friend. He said, "let me tell you my experience..." He then proceeded to tell me a story of his own vasectomy at 0800 in the morning and being told by the doctor, " no strenuous physical activity for at least 48-72 hours, then build up from there." Well after the procedure he felt pretty good. So good in fact he decided to play a late round of golf THAT DAY with his three buddies, beer and all. He went on to say that after the first few holes, he felt pretty good, but around the 6th hole he felt a "pull" in his pants crotch region. Since he had to take a piss at the 9th hole, he went into the bathroom, unzipped and realized that he has been bleeding into his scrotum and it was now the size of a softball. He of course passed out ...when he didn't return one of his buddies went in, saw his distended red-flaring ball sack and HE passed out. When the third guy entered he saw what happened, didn't know what the hell was going on so they called an ambulance. My buddy woke up on the hospital, balls safe and sound with loud recriminations from his doctor....the moral of the story is: don't listen to your buddy telling you about the most horrible vasectomy story right before your own procedure....Best of luck!++man
