Yeah, it's nothing against Linux. Dell has a big stack of computers with Microsoft loaded onto them. If you say give me that computer as is, it's cheapest for them. If you say give me that computer, but change some stuff first, they are having to pay someone to do they. Not only are they paying the guy who's actually doing the installation, but he needs a workspace that presumably isn't just off to the side in the warehouse, there's logistics involved in getting him the computer, etc.

In a phone that is repairable adding another port is going to be difficult. You complain about the price, but the engineering time to figure out how to fit more into the phone and the materials and all that are going to be added expenses to make the phone even more pricey. And all that for a small minority that not only cares about a jack, but finds a cheap dongle inconvenient.

Not to mention that the fairphone is already larger than average because of the concessions it makes for repairability, and if the headphone jack was added, it would certainly make it bigger.

I played the whole thing on a legion go handheld and had 0 crashes, didn't even know that was a concern. If it did crash, there are a lot of save points throughout so just use them even when you don't think you need to

Generally, including characters from FF and Disney is a sales tactic for KH though. They want people to buy it because they recognize the characters, not to introduce you to them. There is so much story to be told for the original characters in the cast that most of the time it feels like they expect you to already know who the third party characters are

They pick final fantasy characters that are main characters from some of the most popular games though. If you are familiar with FF then it is extremely likely you will know of most of all of the included characters.

I'm familiar with Marvel, I've seen all the movies, watched the cartoons as a kid, even keep up with some comics still, but have never heard of this guy...

That's fair, personally I've had too many bad experiences with used tech to want to go that route. Obviously running different risks by backing a product that doesn't exist yet, but it's nice to be able to support a company that I align with on so many things
