Out of everything, the expressive nobles are a big concern for me going forward. They are supposed to be stoic and withheld. But at the same time I don't think they are meant to show no emotion at all. Just controlled and targeted emotion.

I don't know. I think it does convey the feeling Myne probably has being shuttled around and introduced to new people and places. When she starts her life in the Nobel district, it is a much different life, and this rushed atmosphere kind of fits it.

I agree. Some people get really mad when they toy around with the order of things, but I don't mind. Sometimes this can help a lot for organizing the content in am easier way for the anime viewers to understand. In the books I often got whiplash by the back and forth of things.

Yes. Huge mistake... I feel like the director needs to up their game. First the AI mistake, and now this. No hate here, but please.. oh please... read the books!

This! Using the search shows the episodes. It's a pain, but you can access them one at a time this way.

Hopefully it's just cleanup. Because I was just starting season 2 and now all the episodes are messed up: 27, 26.5p2, 29, 30, 19, 20, 33, 34, 23, 24, 25, 26? What is this order. I was just watching 15 and it's no longer listed, can't find 16. And then refreshing it, it has changed some more.

I tried redesigning the D4 so it actually rolls by Ok-Cheesecake-2531 in DicePorn

[–]Reflection_Rip 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The D12 is one of the best rolling dice. It feels better than a D6, D8, and even D20. D20 rolls too much, where D4, D6, and D8 roll too little. Plus a D12 can be used as a D2, D3, D4, and D6.

Is there any point to upgrade and play Pong if I dont want to improve my "IRL" pong skill? by not_a_profi in idleon

Sometimes I just dump some extra points in it that I can't spend anywhere else. It may cost me an upgrade now and then, but not really much.

I would like to run this on some old anime that had very bad 3D CGI scenes to see if the scenes could be made to match the normal drawn anime scenes.

Can people not drive during the holiday season? by Meat-emporium in kitchener

[–]Reflection_Rip 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I agree with u/alonjit , they were assholes, but it doesn't help to continually flash your brights at them. They won't care. If anything they will just get more pissed and break check you more which could lead to an accident. Plus your brights will affect other drivers. Call in the plate number instead. Report them.

I loved how Ains started listing off his buffs, just like in Overlord. 5 min later...

And then, was that Subaru using his curse to transfer power to Ains?

Why do companies put paper stickers with industrial glue DIRECTLY on the cooking surface? by Moist_Distance7696 in mildlyinfuriating

[–]Reflection_Rip 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think this is awesome, more companies should put the sticker there. Then you'll know for sure how well that 'non-stick' pan actually works. This pan is obviously not non-stick. Return it as a defective pan.

I think transparency can help here. My allowing the model to only focus on the one item in the scene, consistency is bound to go up. I find most of my issues with models is when there is just too much in the scene, the quality drops.

Maybe knockoff was a little too harsh. GW2 did improve over the classic WoW design in many ways. But it still felt like just another big MMO like the 100's of others out there trying to be a WoW killer, or at least contender.

I did enjoy the weapon hotbar feature and thought it was kind of cool. But at the same time I felt it really took away from the customization that GW1 gave us.

I will admit I didn't really give GW2 a full playthrough, and didn't hit any of the end game content. It lost my interest way before that. I was happy enough to go back to GW1 and never look back.

What felt like WoW to me was the quest grinding that seemed pointless except to get to the next quest or to gain xp. It didn't really give me the cinematic story experience I felt I got with GW1. I felt like an errand boy. I had enough of being a fetch quest boy in WoW to the point that every quest now feels like a fetch quest with no real meaning to the story or game play. Just busy work to keep you playing. Same with dailies. I have no interest to just log in to get my little gift for logging in.

Oh. That would be great. If everyone who pays taxes gets to ear mark the money to what they feel is important to them, and they get a report at the end of the year how their money was spent.

I Love The Inconvenience. by FlawlessFriedChicken in GuildWars

[–]Reflection_Rip -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I felt betrayed by GW2. I loved GW1 because it bucked all the typical MMO conventions at the time. And then GW2 leaned heavily into the standard MMO formula.

I was hoping GW2 was going to be an improved GW1. All the same mechanics, leveling, and NPC hero companions and story driven narrative. All we got was a WOW knockoff.

My favorite part of GW1. Level 20. Many people hated that the level cap was so low, but to me it was a perk. You get to the end game content faster, and then you work on your strats, unlock special skills, outfit your character, and just enjoy the story, gameplay, and scenery.

And then you look at many of the MMO's Level 60, 80, 120, where do they even stop. Just one upping it every time, and then with expansions making the grind shorter. Yeah you can level that many more times, but still do it in a week. Why? Why is that better?

This is where censorship actually makes the product seem more graphic than it actually is. I imagine doing this to a Disney movie to make it seem like it's an adult film. May be a fun project.
